How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
Theft is in a narrative aspect, the main character is having his life and his time stolen away by his inaction. His favourite childhood toy is used in the beginning and the end of the game as both a minigame and a sort of visual narrative piece.

I love how you intentionally make the player bored with the minigame, i think it works well in this game jam since i want to play through your game completely before giving a rating, but i think the average normal player would just quit lol

Developer

Yeah, it could've been broken up a little between each session and it would've probably been worth having  something a bit more substantial before it to get people more invested. Either way, thanks for playing!

AHHHH ITS SO SLOW I CANT
I guess that was the point but damn you're really testing my will to know the story
The narrative and jokes are great though. But I am writing this as the letters fall on my pc

Oh and the sounds on the car are very abrupt and harsh

COME ON MAN, LETTERS AGAIN? FOR THE THIRD TIME?

Hahaha, it was an intentional choice, but yeah, it dragged out a little too long for its own good. Thanks for playing!

Man, that story, the way you bore the player, making them "work" with Garfield, that's so good! The ending almost gave me chills! Once again proving that the narrative aspect in any game is an extremely useful tool.

Thanks a million! Really happy with how the story turned out, :)

Great storyline with cute art. The quicktime minigames were a bit slow but adding the car driving into it made it enjoyable. Depressing thought but the idea of stealing time from yourself mixed with the old toys of childhood was a good spin on the theme and object.

Overall played well and functioned great. Good story and fun game.

Yeah, the quicktime game was supposed to be a bit boring and drawn out, but probably got too much screen time for its own good, oh well! Thanks very much for playing!
