I like the idea of trying to get up onto the buildings and explore the city from the rooftops. It's super difficult to get up there though! I couldn't make it. It feels very slow, not necessarily a bad thing, it just feels kinda like moon gravity. I think it could really benefit from having a map or some indicator to let the player know where to go.
Yep the city is cool! But wayyy to slow!
Just like other people have said, the walking is too slow. Very impressive for 48 hours though. Good job! :D
thanks
The jump mechanic works pretty well!
However, I found that the character was too slow for the game, so it makes overall pace of the game really slow.
Overall gg for your work!
thank you.
You have to send the files to a compressed zip folder and use that compressed zip folder for the file.
Great dude!!
Thank for helping me fix this error.
your welcome.
You didn't include all the required files, I can't run it
Thank I have fixe all error now.
It works now, but the player speed seems incredibly slow
When I try to run City Jumper.exe, I get the error: "The code execution cannot proceed because UnityPlayer.dll was not found Reinstalling the program may fix this problem". I think you might need to include UnityPlayer.dll in a zip with the exe!
Thanks I have fixed the error.
I got another error!
" Data folder not found
Application folder:
D:/Downloads/MNG/Builds
There should be 'City Jumper_Data'
folder next to the executable
"
But I renamed The Mix and Game Jam_Data folder to City Jumper_Data, and it ran! Seems like the character moves really slowly though, maybe this is because of my hacky fix :)
Ok I will keep that in mind.
I fixed it . I accidently renamed a file.
