The animations (especially the enemy death animations), color palette, and overall design of the game were really well done.  I appreciate the enemy variety too! This is one of the more stylistic and responsive of the 3D dungeon crawler games submitted to this jam.

Unique but very nice art style, fun mechanics, and very polished. Enjoyed it a lot!

Great animations!

Very classic Doom-like. Overall very fun and polished. The fast pace combat is really well done and solid. However, the hitboxes feels very inconsistent, its very hard to judge how far your sword actually goes, and what's range of the enemies attacks because of the 1-bit graphics. And sometimes enemy can push you into a corner which makes the movement feels unresponsiveness when it happens. Most actions in the game have clear feedbacks for both visual and sounds, but I would like for enemy hitting you to have some sound feedback too. And probably directional feedback on the visual end. But as I stated, overall a solid game

Thanks for playing! There is mild feedback when you get hit, you get a screen shake and a fainting red hit indicator in the middle of the screen. Welp, I guess that wasn't enough. Movement is key to winning this game, and by movement I also mean trying to avoid getting cornered XD.

Very well made, polished and good retro FPS reference. Very fun and challenging to play too. Nice music choice, prety Doom related. One of the best games in terms of gameplay and polishing  so far.

Really nice game! Love what you did with the art pack!

Really nice dungeon crawler. I especially love how you used the sprites and what you made out of them with animations.  (Head falling off etc.) Hitting enemies gives clear visual feedback, the doors are locked until you kill all the enemies and the movement feels nice. Overall really nice game and an impressive amount of polish for 48 hours.

Absolutely getting Doom vibes from this. I like the various death animations - they were great. Good music, people clambering out the floors was really good.

Fast paced movement was excellent and enjoyed!

This is great - I love the enemy animations (both their waddle and when their heads get lopped off). I also really love how there are certain rooms that lock and force you into a curated combat encounter. Very Doom-esque in that regard and I think makes it stand out because then you were able to flex and design a well paced fight.

I also love the secret walls. And the armor system is a nice addition. Overall, really well thought through and solid game! One note is that I think you can take away the first locking door because if you walk past without picking up the sword, you can't advance the game because you can't go back and pick up the sword.

Great job!

Thanks for reviewing my game! Yeah, that bug is the player's fault, I guess its a feature then lmao XD
