Cool concept, got a bit confused by the different colors, but it was fun nonetheless.

The ideia is pretty cool, and as a good pokemon fan I love the ideia of elemental monters, but I think like there where many things happening and not much explaining about it. And when the game finishes(I think I killed that guy) it just bug.

Developer

now it will tell you if you win or lose and gives you another chance, and more explanation, but maybe too many words?

I got kinda confused with the colors, because Rhite's summons were red, and I had to look to the game's page showing the elements to understand it haha

It's pretty interesting, it can be improved, but as a whole I really liked it.

Developer

Yeah, the faeries were not displaying correctly, was a little rushed back then, but I have changed it to show them disappearing as they take damage.

Rock Paper Scissors but it's way more fun

Il really lacks polishing, but hey it's really fun for a simple game.

You can always make a more polished version post-gamejam^^

Good job finishing your game for the jam man!

Developer

Took your advice, and gave it some sounds, improved the display and try again features. Still gonna work on it some more, any ideas for the next features?

Definitely a strong basis to build something really fun out of, I found it a little bit confusing at first but definitely a fun concept. nice job :)

Developer

hopefully its less confusing now, but if it is still confusing, I plan on doing a few more updates, let me know if there are any changes I should make.

I agree with @Robot Girlfriend below. Expansion of this concept seems open-ended and really fun, and I'll add that it's set up in a way that makes someone curious as to what will come next. It's for that reason that it's a bit abrupt, I think, besides the short round time itself. I'd like to see what direction you take this in! Level-based? 1v1, where your friend gets to control the machinating Rhite (loved the names, by the way)? Get money to last as long as you can by buying power-ups or new fairie types? Add some sound and make the fairie colors a bit brighter to contrast the background more and it would already be on the way to being a really tight package.

Thanks for this!

Developer

none of that for this update, mostly just polishing it and preparing myself for the real version of this game :D but now there are sounds and looks better

This is a really cool idea with lots of potential! I liked that it was pretty low touch but it was satisfying to see the little faeries fight. The tiles and spawning was well implemented. I could see this being a really fun mobile game.

My primary feedback is that it was a bit short and quite easy. I would've liked to see the enemy respawn a little stronger each time I kill him. It's a really cool idea and would love to see more. Overall great job, especially for your second published game.

Developer

Thank you, I have had this idea for a while, and now that I have the base set, I plan on working on it further. Between having dogs, work and a bit of a crazy family, I ran a little short on time.

Developer

I would like to eventually release it for mobile, but for now it looks better and has sounds, you should give it another try ;D
