Fun concept! I liked the unique aspects of the game, like reloading. Sounds felt stacked though, like when hitting multiple targets. Also, pathfinding seemed a bit strange at times.

Developer

I agree with the sound, I didn't manage to polish it; as for the pathfinding there is actually none, there are just fixed paths that the enemies follow. Thank you for your feedback!

This was really neat!  I liked the idea of throwing the gun to reload and swapping tower locations.  Some of the enemy pathing was a bit strange, and i felt that the 2nd level angles were a bit tricky.  Shooting was very satisfying!   I'd love to see this concept built on!

Interesting take on tower defense, I had a lot of fun! I was annoyed a bit by how small the areas I had to shoot from were, I often found myself shooting or throwing right at the wall next to me.

Great sound design as well, well done!

This game is WILD! I missed the "throw/hit to reload" bit (I guess slightly too much text, but also my fault for missing it). The second I understood the name of the game was when it all clicked, and it all worked so seamlessly. Click and drag was the hardest part on a trackpad haha, but clear, self-explanatory UI, fun, engaging concept, and overall very solid execution. Nice work!

Developer

I noticed quite late that the tutorial was kinda wordy and that I could have used the symbols in the tileset to make it more compact and direct, so I agree with your consideration. Would not recommend to play this kind of games with a trackpad to anyone, ahahah. Thank you for your kind words!

A quite unique concept ! Quite satisfying using the weapons ! Pretty good for something thats unfinished! Small suggestion would be cleaning the sounds up abit, as it seemed they repeated alot when enemies are killed! :)

Sounds definitely need a lot of polishing given their state, I agree with you. Thanks for your feedback!

"Couldn't finish it in time [...]" Funny enough, this looks very finished to me. Throw you gun to reload it so you can keep shooting monsters, feels good! I guess the level design could be a little better for the aiming, but well made.

Also, for some reason, I liked how you made the chandelier as a turret here. Congrats!

Developer

Totally agree for the level design, I never really had made games in which levels were an important factor, so it was quite a first time for me. I agree with the chandelier too, it really looks nice as a turret, ahahah

Fun! Interesting mechanics with throwing the guns. Some of the sound effects for shooting were obnoxious machine guns tho which was a poor choice.

Developer(+1)

Some sounds were quite incoherent/bad and I did not intend to leave them like that, but you how it is with game jam

This is an interesting concept. I do wish there were a faster way to shuffle guns between slots, like a key to rotate every gun to the neighboring slot or something like that. Also ammo seems tight. Even if I only missed a couple of shots in the early levels I still ran out of ammo before the end.

Developer

Ammo are absolutely way too tight, or in my opinion it's the waves to be too packed. On the other hand, I kinda liked the messines of having to swap weapons around, ahahah

Fun gameplay and a really nice concept, I found that some of the gun spots had quite low visibility but I assume that was the intention so nice job :) More levels would definitely be awesome.

Developer

Exactly, my intention was to create the need to swap weapons between the various slots, instead of just sitting on the same ones. If I'll end up considering this worth expanding I would surely add more levels, thanks!

I think it’s in a better state than you thought! Pretty fun to play and I love the concept. It took a while to figure out how to reload, but that mechanic is super fun and I think this game has a ton of room to grow, awesome job!

Developer

I had a lot of ideas during the development, but I barely managed to create decent levels sadly. Thank you for you kind words!

Super cool concept! Balancing all the guns and weapons while trying to reload the guns and hitting the enemies is really fun.

This game is great! Really smart idea! Nicely done! Also, don't sell yourself short in the description - it almost put me off playing it!

Developer

Thank you for your kindness, your words have honestly relieved me

Like the idea,  easily to learn, room for depth. good job

Nice concept! Is there a way to gain more ammo in the level? If not the levels a little to hard in my opinion.

Developer

They most certainly are hard, some waves were thought when ammos were not a thing and I didn't manage to change them in the end, sorry!

Sadly couldn't beat every level cause the ammo is so tight! Great idea on the game though. Liked the use of the chandelier as turret-arm!

Developer

I did way too many changes near the deadline, so I coulnd't fix all the problems in time. Thank you for playing despite everything!
