Wow that's super polished! I don't understand how this has so few ratings. I love the mechanic and it was super fun :D

Here are a few things I noticed:

- The controls were a bit difficult to grasp for me, I am more used to the arrow keys and Z/X in 2D platformers.

- There's a bug at the end of the HTML version, I can't see the text at the end completely.

- I noticed your money doesn't disappear when you die, so you can farm the coins indefinitely, was that intended?

Other than that the game is great! I hope you expand on it, it could become a pretty fun platformer.

Im happy to hear you enjoyed it! In the future I'll try to include Z and X as options too and Im sorry to hear about the bug. The UI doesnt work properly if you arent in fullscreen and even then I'm not sure how it works on other aspect ratios than mine. Now ive at least realized that I have to count for other aspect ratios as well :) The money remaining is intentional. Its so that if you keep dying but still can get coins you can make it easier for yourself by getting upgrades. Thank you for the feedback and thank you so much for playing :D

A good platformer with a fun mechanic!  Given the time constraints, I'd say you got the character controller done quite well (It took me ages to get Raccoon to the Moon to feel right, and even then it's still a bit wonky...so I have a lot of respect for someone who can get something feeling pretty good in 48 hours). I had a bit of trouble with the doors, they weren't always that responsive.  Other than that, great work!  Really fun!

Thanks for playing! but yeah the doors don't work properly sometimes and unfortunately I didn't have enough time to fix it. Anyway I'm happy to hear that you liked it :)

Solid platformer that I enjoyed playing. Switching colours was a cool idea and felt very juicy! I also liked how there were different abilities that you could buy: Good job for doing that in 48 hours! In terms of feedback, I thought that the difficulty jumped up a bit too quickly after the shop. And in some levels, you couldn't initially see everything so the first few times you died it felt a bit unfair. Good job overall though :)

Thank you for the feedback! I was thinking of having trigger areas where the camera would offset down a bit so that you wouldnt have such leaps of faith. But looking back now I do think I should have just zoomed the camera out a bit maybe. Im glad you enjoyed the overall experience tho :)

I like the idea of dark/white. Visuals are good. Music would be nice to have. The camera distance could be a little bit further away. I often haven't seen what is in my way. But it is nice platformer game. Good job! :)

Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! I'll make sure to have the camera be a bit further away in my future projects :)

I enjoyed the general experience, I feel like it would work best with a controller but there's no jump or dash button on controller.
It's difficult but didn't feel unfair.

I am glad you enjoyed it :) Next time I'll see if I have time to implement some controller controls
