Crazy how much you can do in only a few days. Didn’t feel like a gamejam game at all!
Wow "Wasteland Tactics" looks gorgeous! The gameplay is awesome! When I click on “Music” it even opens youtube for me. Like “Go find some musics on your own! Do I have to do everything here!?”
I love it :D
I was dangerously close to "No Budget at all" more than once but I managed to clear all the outposts on my first try. I’m a bit proud of myself ^^
Well done!
Thanks for playing and great job finishing this at the first try!
I am unable to play this game - it crashes on opening. It may be because my graphics card cant handle the graphics modes you've chosen? I'll contact you with more details on discord.
Resolved, if someone else has DX10 card, please let me know, I will get you release limited to shader model 4.0
Lovley visuals! The particle effects were awesome and the scrolling 3d desert looked so cool. Having to press multiple times to modulate the power and tilt of the misslie launcher was a little monotonus, it would probably be better if the button could be held to quickly change these values.
The file size is quite large, some of the dependancies you included such as System.Windows.Forms.dll are over 12mb and are almost certainly already on the user’s computer.
My monitor is 1920x1080, and some of the buttons were off, I had to click below the buttons for them to register.
Overall the game was fun and blowing up buildings was super satisfying, very impressive for a week!
Change resolution, if buttons are off it is difference between viewport size and window bounds. If it started in windowed mode for you then window's header caused the rest to not fit, either borderless mode or lower resolution (settings) would fix the issue :). It would additionally also fix the issue with changing the tilt and power as main means to doing it is using mouse to drag and drop Sliders. You can use shift + arrow keys for lager step. Arrow keys themself were meant just for micro adjustment so I get that got frustrating if it was main means of control for you. Thanks for playing, sorry about the issues :)
