Really well done on the game. I enjoyed all the thought that went into it. When playing it a second time, I really noticed how the background and music changed subtly until the end when it was so shabby. Very well thought out.
Great job trying the voice acting too!
I was a little confused with the time changes now and then. And I think with more time to flesh out the story, it would be even more amazing. To clarify, I was also curious about if the three friends were real or in her head since the door was locked. My interpretation was that she was locked inside her mind and her better qualities helped her overcome her trauma from her mother :) What a difficult topic to handle. Well done overall.
Thank you!! and hehe I really enjoy hearing different theories around the game <3
awesome

If someone showed me this game out of the blue, no context, I would've thought that this game wasn't even made for a game jam! It was so good, the characters were loveable, the audio was great, and everything just felt really cute!
I really have thought that this game would be like Coffee Talk, but this is so much different. I loved it!
10/10 guys, amazing work!
Thank you so much!! <3 <3
I feel that playing a game made for a jam, I often don't expect much. Constraints are the heart of a game jam, but nonetheless I'm always happy for devs that drop impressive games I could never imagine making in a week.
I was not just impressed by this game. I was amazed. Taken aback even. This was a great little story with characters I could feel for and a wonderful art style and soundtrack to boot. I loved the dog puns and the voice acting and especially the scene at the end.
My only complaint is that it wasn't longer so I couldn't get to know all the characters better. If this was a demo for a larger game, I'd definitely play it.
Thank you all for making this game and organizing this jam
AAWW ah, this makes me happy, thank you so much! <3
I liked the way the background changed the cracks and brokenness.
"Why do you always want the same green shit" seemed out of character unless she is talking to her own alter ego I guess. which I believe she is.
Yes! that's really cool Elea really did a good job <3
And theories, oh man! I like theories hehe
Ok, holy banana peels, the graphics and audio are AMAZING. Also, while it took us a little while to figure out exactly what the metaphorical things represented (like the dog and especially the Irish coffee) meant, but once we got that figured out, it really hit hard. Maybe to make the Irish coffee thing a little clearer, as the requests get more demanding, maybe throw in a line like "with extra whisky!" or something?
I also really liked the idea of her being an empath, being so willing to listen to others despite taking on the pain of their issues herself. Her being so cheery and seeing the background deteriorate was really painful to watch.
The only thing I'd suggest is smooth out the story telling just a little bit. The time skips were a bit confusing because of how the amount of content in them was kind of inconsistent. I think to fix this, maybe cut down one "timeslot" (so like morning, evening and night only?) or condense the events so that they take up less days but have equal amount of time spent in between. Another option could be to expand on events, if you have time! It would be really neat to see how the manager of the coffee shop is! What other stress forms the rat takes on! If there's a human customer who genuinely cares, but his/her words don't reach her. These could all really expand on the theme!
But regardless, all those are just tiny suggestions to make an already existing masterpiece even better. I still can't believe you guys made this in a jam frame! It looks better than what some could do in months!
Keep up the amazing work!

How can something be this cute and so painful at the same time?
Oops, I mean, woof.
