Haha yeah there are a few ways to die... some more gruesome than others. Glad you enjoyed it!

Loved the story and the graphics. It was simple and clean but I think this allowed you to make each part shine. I really liked how the color of the background indicated a good or bad ending. Played a few times and really enjoyed the different storylines.

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed playing it. :)

Wonderfully executed. I can tell you're practiced delivering a concise, yet effective narrative with just enough background elements to add ounces of atmosphere. Very Goosebumps-like. Would love to see future, larger projects in this style. Keep it up!

Thank you very much! I started learning to code games because I wanted to find another way to share my writing so I'm glad that shows.

I'm jealous, frankly. All the elements fit great together, in a tight, compressed thriller. I was so engaged, I didn't even realize it was just one audio loop, one morphing background, and some text.

You were able to prioritize what was important to your game, and laser-focused on those things. Great time management for the jam. I need me some of that.

Developer

Aw that is so sweet! Yeah I figured if I didn't have much time I would focus on just a few atmospheric elements. I'm glad they all came together! PS. I really liked your game too. :)

I didn't think that I'd end up hooked on this game, but I found myself reloading just so I could get all the endings. The coffee stained background and the music are a great combo, but there seems to be a glitch where if you click 2 when it isn't an option you just get a screen without text. Oh, and I appreciate how there's a delay on input so you don't accidentally skip a page. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for letting me know about that glitch. I will fix it as soon as I can. Glad you enjoyed the game. :)

This story was so engaging and spooky, I was hooked right from the beginning! I just HAD to play the game several times to see how many different endings I could get. Amazing writing!!

Thank you so much! It's my first time doing a game in this style so it means a lot that you had a good experience. :)
