That was amusing! Loved those funny random lines that kept changing with fun references, love it when interactive stories find ways to make the most of this not being a printed book! :)
Great job!
Thank you. And whew... I'm so glad some of the humor came across; I was afraid it was going to leave everyone dazed and confused o.O.
Story seemed really intriguing but I got stuck!
Sorry! Thank you for telling me. It's looking like I'll have to do some tweaks to the "help" and synergy system to make it easier to finish.
Your comments really help me, so thank you!
Love the idea of switching between two points of view, but I don't know if Twine's the best to handle it. I got stuck once, then cheated to the end, but then immediately got stuck again. Regardless, the writing's good, and I especially like the concept of swapping around events and characters in the beginning of the heaven bit, even if they have no bearing on the story. Keep it up!
Huh. Thanks bearhunter. I will have to tweak the synergy values for more "wiggle room" then. Or make it more explicit how much one needs, something... Gives me food for thought. Thanks!
cultural and language barriers of communication are not letting me feel this game enough. This game story is surreal, but almost everything is surreal when I don't understand.
Thanks for your perspective, sudhan. Sometimes I forget the international community out there. I'll have to keep that in mind next time. :-)
Lovely writing! The story was captivating and the characters were very interesting. Some sound effects might be a nice atmospheric addition. :)
Thank you for your gracious words. I really wanted to get some art & sound in it, too! The deadline smacked me down brutally, though, because the story kept getting bigger as I wrote it.
I think you did a great job, and I plan to play it again to get a different ending.
Thanks for your comments. There aren't many different endings, I'm afraid. Just a bonus and an epilogue if you whip up enough synergy.
