As others have said, there are a handful of visual bugs you may already be aware of. The "corpse on the floor" didn't render and later in the game there were two background images missing. Other than that, this is a super neat take on the theme and really intriguing. Nice job of making you feel like you're in two places or different times at once. The sprites are really well done and the music sets the tone well, although maybe the tracks could have been just a little longer. There are a handful of grammatical/spelling mistakes at time but they didn't detract from my enjoyment of the experience. Lili honestly seems quite unhinged and maybe it's a good thing we ended up breaking up :| lol Cool submission!

This was a really cool play through. I enjoyed how high quality the drink and rendering of the backgrounds were. However, I would like to point out some bugs/errors I experienced while running through some options:

1. When running through the conversation of what made Lili attracted to you, after (Red) Lili says "By the way...", you are given the option to take a drink. When I selected yes, it shows Lili's sprite while still on the drink background. Then by selecting "no" then "your sense of humor", everything goes back to normal.

2. When given the list of drinks to select from, Venus Blush and Corpse on the Floor were the only drinks that did not have an image. Then when continuing through the rest of the playthrough, all the backgrounds disappear, saying they are not found at the top left corner.

3. The story from here just continues with no backgrounds and just cuts off when it's finished. I thought my computer crashed until I clicked on the screen, taking me back to the main menu. I don't want to assume if this was an experience where there was supposed to be bugginess in the plot, but I will say it made things a little confusing.

This may have not made a lot of sense, but I really recommend looking through and checking it out.

Note: It's amazing that you guys have been able to create a lengthy game in such a short amount of time. This is still a really cool concept and if this was meant to be in the game, then completely disregard my comment.  Otherwise, I wish you guys the best of luck with bug fixing.

It makes a ton of sense thank you!
Unfortunately we had some issues bug testing the end of the game and ran out of time... We are aware of those bugs :(

Long story short, the good end flag wouldn't trigger, but we didn't catch the error in time :x by that point it was too late to actually fix all the issues. It's silly really, with one hour more of we would have fixed it all --'

We do have a fixed version that we'll post once the voting is over with some extra endings and assets we didn't have time to implement and polish.

So you can look forward to that!

This is such a neat concept!! I loved the opportunities to change point of views and try to figure out what was happening with the different realities (still not 100% sure if it was an alternate reality or a possible future? Hmm 🤔)

I managed to get a couple different endings and I felt like there were a few more I could have gotten. This is a tremendous amount of content for a game jam!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! We originally had additional endings to what can be reached in game, but we didn't have the time to fully implement them :x To the post gamejam version it goes!

Wow, I really liked the concept of drinking! I love drinking! epic game

Drinking is what makes the drinking world go 'round! :D Thanks!

Really good! I personally do not like the 'love potion' trope, but this was one of the more interesting takes on it where its a potion a person administers to themselves. I had some issues with the backgrounds, but the art overall is fantastic and really expressive! Mad props and neat gameplay!

Originally we were gonna make it a mirror in the bathroom, but then we figured making the MC go to the bathroom every time would get awkward :x Thank you!

Very creative use of the theme; i would not have thought of it in a million years!

The art is very well done, and i liked it a lot.

Thank you! We went through about 10 ideas and this is what stuck best within the team!

Lol a couple members on the team said the same thing! But we all agreed it was more funny to keep the barrages of insults in :P

I have nothing else to say than agree with Almanak Games. Great job.

Cute art style and cool vibe! I was very intrigued by the concept of a bar that could switch you between alternating realities - that was a neat interpretation of the jam's theme. I also liked the different paths and endings - the one where you refuse the drink in the first place made me chuckle. :) Nicely done!
