It makes a ton of sense thank you!
Unfortunately we had some issues bug testing the end of the game and ran out of time... We are aware of those bugs :(

Long story short, the good end flag wouldn't trigger, but we didn't catch the error in time :x by that point it was too late to actually fix all the issues. It's silly really, with one hour more of we would have fixed it all --'

We do have a fixed version that we'll post once the voting is over with some extra endings and assets we didn't have time to implement and polish.

So you can look forward to that!

A very meta and enjoyable game! Had fun finding all the endings :)

Good job!

The art and animation work is great! It's really too bad the interaction is broken :(

This was such an interesting experience! I had a preconceived idea of what a "visual novel" was, but it was completely thrown on its head from this game. It truly feels like reading a novel, you mostly have to make up in your mind the appearance of the characters, their actions and their expressions in your mind, retaining this very traditional novel feel, while the visuals and the music steer your emotions toward where the story is going. It's a very impressive feat!

A great story and game! Congrats!

It's an interesting concept, but I can't really seem to grasp what's going on exactly.  Like others have pointed out, it was written more like a novel than a visual novel: no change in characters emotions, character text written in one chunks as opposed to split up over multiple  textboxes, no character names shown...

It's a bit too difficult to follow @_@ but it has a very interesting concept going for it and I think the art and music direction are on point for what this story was meant to achieve!

Good job!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! We originally had additional endings to what can be reached in game, but we didn't have the time to fully implement them :x To the post gamejam version it goes!

Drinking is what makes the drinking world go 'round! :D Thanks!

Beautiful game! The story is touching and it looks gorgeous and what more you made the game without an engine! It was a great experience overall!

Great job!

Originally we were gonna make it a mirror in the bathroom, but then we figured making the MC go to the bathroom every time would get awkward :x Thank you!

Thank you! We went through about 10 ideas and this is what stuck best within the team!

Lol a couple members on the team said the same thing! But we all agreed it was more funny to keep the barrages of insults in :P

Thanks!

Thank you!

I loooove the audio! The music, the voice acting and the singing at the end, it's all perfect! Written like a love letter, the story was cozy and heartwarming, I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Good job!

I really dig the art stye and the absurd setting and humour! It was an enjoyable time!

Great job!

It was a very interesting game! I have to admit it took longer than I would like to admit to actually not just go between people and just ask them random question until something clicked --' But once it did, it really came together and I started enjoying myself!

Great job!

Very cute take on Greek mythology and speed dating! It was short and sweet and I had a blast playing it!
Great job!

The platforming was pretty solid! I was surprised there was no coins out of reach of any other issue of the type, and I didn't feel like the hitboxes (although punishing in their own way) were too unfair.

I'm not sure this was specifically a good submission for this game jam. I would have liked to get a little more context as to the setting or coins (Maybe an incentive to collect them?), but it's solid work nonetheless!

Good job!

I found the hand drawn style very charming and a great time walking around and interacting with the different characters. It' s too bad the ending's not working, I was very intrigued where the story was going :(

Good job!

An interesting way to approach the concept! It took me a hot minute to understand what was going on in that first area, but then it came together for the conclusion!
I especially enjoyed the art and the writing was clear and concise :)

Good job!
