I find it an interesting idea and the game has charm, although it can be quite difficult to fully control the mechanics. However, once you manage that, the game becomes entertaining. One thing it does very well is to remind you of the level of challenge in the original NES games, and that is a good point that gives it the essence of the console. But it could be improved. Well done.

Thanks for your review ! 🙂

This one was a unique game. An interesting idea but I couldn't figure out a good strategy. I died a lot. I assume the platforms are randomly placed because there were a couple of times I got a pattern that seemed impossible to me. But I wasn't very good at the game so who really knows. Other than it being way too hard for me, it was a cool game that would benefit from a better way to control your jumps.

Thanks for your comment !

It is indeed randomly generated based on 8 differents patterns, which can cause some really complicated levels! I tried to put the “rescue platform mechanic” to counter that, but in the end it made the game feels more overwhelming 😅 I will try to make some adjustments after the game jam !

I really appreciate your feedback, thanks!

I reached Level 4 and 51 points on my last try, not sure I could do much better as it was the first time I ever evenreached the second level.

The game is overwhelming at first but that's because it is quite unique, with the appropriate difficulty, and it gets addictive as you figured out the controls, totally some gameplay loop you could find on a lost NES game.
