Controls and art style are great, and like others have mentioned it felt a lot like playing Metroid, or Mega Man (two of my favorites). The overworld was a little empty but going into each level was really fun. I really like what you have done with this!

This game is really cool and ambitious. Reminds me a lot of Zelda II and Metroid in particular. NES feel is off the charts with this one (it's an especially nice detail that enemies stop and reload as soon as they're off screen). I do think that enemies have a bit too much health though, it seems to take forever to kill even basic enemies which gets a bit tedious since their patterns are pretty simple.

"With the final blow dealt to their leader, the demonic forces retreat back to hell."

The scope of the game is quite big. Both the size and the difficulty felt overwhelming at first which was a good thing as it was all the more satisfying to finally beat and eventually ridicule the enemies of the world map while in the beginning I could not beat them, find all the weapons one by one, use their abilities and eventually face the boss, the first time he beat me but then I grinded all the items, got back and this time I managed to beat him.

The game is great, it all looks, sounds and feels very good and all looks, sounds and feels like a NES game. The controls and shooting feel good, the scope and "puzzles" are perfect for a jam, the different weapons are satisfying (Ice was good for someone like me who's unable to target the enemies) and the different enemies look cool and propose a different threat which is fun to deal with (I never managed to defeat a big dude even giving all I got by the way) and the game ends with a fulfilling boss fight.

When I saw that title I immediately got tokusatsu vibes. This game is like a cool mix of Mega Man, Zelda II and Metroid! Very neat. Wish there was more music though, the overworld felt pretty empty bcuz of it

Everything about Godstriker Tenraima is all amazing. The music and sound effects are really put together really well, and I loved the different places you could go to and talk to people like a lot of NES games. My only problem is that when I shot the electric fence, the electric fence turned off but I still lost health despite me shooting it off but other than that, this game is simply very amazing!
