  • A cute idea! I like the alternative take on the 'catch items' minigame, with and added element of giving a cat what they want. I can see the tie in with the theme of the jam too. It's not a brand new idea, but it's a playable game and that is what matters. I like the little cat visual, and the other assets in the game. I do wish there was a little music and sound effects, but overall, the simple design works well. The game runs smoothly, but it seems like some of the mechanics don't really work. The bars wouldn't fill up correctly, or would reset randomly, and the affection meter seemed to go up and down at random sometimes. Otherwise, no game-crashing bugs for me when I played. I wish you had added more info into the game jam page - like who made the assets and some idea of what the game is about. It's just good practice to have that information on there. Otherwise, it was cute and fun, and I'm glad you made a small game during the jam. I could imagine some more levels/items in the future, and potentially more cats, making it a really careful game of timing and paying attention.

I like the concept and im always a fan of a cute cat game. Its a shame that your affection, soap and music bars don't seem to be working, but otherwise i like the gameplay loop. Although, if it were my cats the wants would be nothing but food :P.
Good Job!

Cute idea! Only the drumstick bar would fill up for me, even if I did the music and soap(?) correctly. I also couldn't figure out how to gain affection points, but I still enjoyed it! Nice job and cute cat! :3
