Ends up average  for fun and balance. Reminds me of a much older game than I can't quite remember the name of though, so there may be a bit of nostalgia in there though

I'm unfortunately unable to give ratings since I haven't been able to finish the game yet, but here's what I've got so far-

Initial game loop looked kind of bland but it got interesting pretty quickly. Then I got to the forced reset and things got even more interesting, though I'll complain that the start of these resets don't really give a lot of boost so it's still pretty slow.

It was fun trying to figure out how to optimize time crystals gain but the lack of a time crystals/s display made it harder.

Game has autosave but not autoload. This makes it easy to have your save overwritten.

Great game with a fatal UI flaw. The tooltip on "Reset" explains that time crystals are based solely on the amount of rocks you've collected. I didn't see this for the first two resets, and was ready to write the game off.

After seeing that, I realized I'd spend 3-4 minutes progressing, then the last 1-2 minutes completely focused on collecting rocks. I took a different upgrade path every reset depending on how much time I had available, and this kept the game interesting right up until I crashed it (after getting the last upgrade, so I still "won").

It's also possible to do quicker runs in the beginning and get 2-5 crystals, which is optimal, but maybe not as fun.

If you can find a good way to message this, I think people could have a lot of fun with this.

really cool game

The experience where the game takes away the UI every 5 minutes was really unfortunate.

feels like a chore trying to get some initial progress done, i gave it 20 minutes, didnt get much in a way of progress and moved on

I played this one through to the end over about 4-5 sessions. The pacing was great for an incremental game, but probably hurts the game in the jam. The initial 5 minutes was quite the pressure. The dynamism of the tool count and tool effectiveness values kept me coming back to this one.

“gold” is accidentally labelled “iron”, but otherwise works fine.

I managed to crash the game when spending like 1e10 faith on Chronomancy. So a cap would be nice (though I was probably past done with the game at this point)

I didn't give this one a full playthrough so I'm not sure if I should rate it. I think this is a good incremental game but I feel like the theme kinda ruins it. I think that the forced resets kill my flow/enjoyment of the game.

Reminds me of kinda like kittens-esque game but a lot faster and not a lot of waiting around (Which is great) but yea the early-forced resets are a turn off to me, and I'm not sure how great the rest of the game fits into the theme anyways.

(I got to 1e4 research/had a 15 minute run which was going well until it ended)

Maybe giving more time crystals would be better? To not make it feel so reset heavy. Not sure.
