Game is nice and as i said in comment on my game theme fits naturally. I would just do something with the street sprites because its a bit noisy and after a while hard on eye some cracks potholes drains and it would ease the look of the game so much. Overall good game!

The game works fine and fits the theme well. The art is simple, but I like the color variations that make the enemies and background look more diverse. The controls are also responsive.

IMO, the only thing missing is a clear goal. Maybe have a limit on the number of enemies that need to be defeated or requiring the player to reach home after walking x meter.

*sorry, for multiple duplicate comments, I have deleted the rest.

I understand the fact that only having an infinite street is not that much enjoyable, I'll do better!

Okay, first off, I like that the game is polished and everything is working as intended. I like the music, but there's a lack of sound effects or any feedback when you land attacks. A few sound effects would elevate your game. I got to around 400 points until I decided to stop because nothing seemed to be changing. However I like that it's an endless street which is nice. The sprite work and graphics are nice. Congrats on your first jam game! You can only improve from here :)

Congratulations on your first game jam, I hope you enjoyed the experience!

I love the music here, and the feeling of insane power when you get the glasses. Although when you loose them you really do miss them.

Good job on the game!

You feel like powerless?

Good job with finishing your first jam. It is already a win ! Game could be more polished on the game feel being more dynamic and rewarding.

Developer

Yup, I understand this is not so much rewarding, I'll try to do my best for next one!

Congrats on your first jam game! For your  first jam game this is pretty good!

The presentation part was ok! The graphics were totally old school, and the music track was pretty cool (I was punching the baddies to the rythm!). Controls were simple, but did what they were meant to do.

Some hints how to make this game better:

The punching animation could be more dynamic. I'd cut some frames at the start, so that the hand is extended almost instantly, and leave the wind-down as it is.

The baddies need more range. Currently you can move and punch constantly, and not get hit at all.

Right now bad guys come from a single direction. It would be better if they attacked from different sides, even if it meant the player would stop once in a while!

Btw- you used the theme and the object! Nice!

Over all- once again, congrats on your first jam, and keep up the good work!

Thanks for giving your advice on it!

For animations, I was short about time, and I'm not good at drawing, plus I was expecting my mate to do it, so I did it in a rush 2 days before the submission... But I'll work on it next time.

And thanks for game-designing advices, I'll take this in account for next time!
