Can't find the words that the others below haven't expressed when listening to your track but it was truly incredible!
48 seconds in when the percussion/crash piece brought everything together really shifted the music into a decelant planet. Opening more space for other instruments to carry the momentum on really well. Amazing!
Very impressive! My only nitpick is the kind-of rough transition at 1:57, otherwise, this song is amazing.
Thank you!
And I completely agree with you. I didn't have much of an idea for this transition and had already spent a lot of time on it. I tried one thing and it sucked, so I thought: screw it, there will be no transition :)
Very cinematic, could even fit into some Star Wars movie! Would like to see all the vst plugins listed that you used in your submissions tho, even if they are default plugins (idk never heard of reason 12).
Yes, I was a little lazy on the list. I'll put the full list up for #6.
In the meantime, here is what I used this time already:

Fantastic piece! Really encapsulates the theme magnificently! Particularly the orchestra feel and giving the melody to the horns in a couple places really gives the feel of a grand adventure.
I am a sucker for pieces with a long, building crescendo ripe with tension. Add a tempo build to that and I am smitten. The second half delivered on that flawlessly! I loved it!
The move at 1'11" pitch drop out of the piano section was a really cool transition. It comes kinda unexpectedly but does very well in setting up the next segment.
It blows my mind something like this could be made in a week. Bravo!
First of all thank you very much, your comment means a lot to me.
Then, I find your comment a bit surprising because I thought that your build up was very good. As I told you in my comment, I let myself embark by your music.
I'm glad you noticed the transition at 1'11". I made several attempts to try to make the first part stick with the second one and I'm pretty happy with the result :)
To tell you the truth, I had to spend 2 hours doing listening research and watching sound design tutorials on the theme of space. Then 2-3 hours configuring my DAW to get sounds I like. Then 3-4 for the composition. And finally, one hour for the final mix. So about 10 hours (I had three evenings free this week, it was ideal).
My God... that was nice!
it is always nice to see other people's submissions and realize how much you've yet to learn. That was an experience! It was interesting - daring to explore tempo-changes, to have different themes, etc. - and well-composed, with plenty of instruments and themes to make it sound whole. It sounded professional to me, in ways that my own music never does.
And on top of that, your Nitro-Music Rumble page is well-organized (you've been doing it for some time, nice!), you provide .mp3 instead of .wav which I appreciate, and you are just a friendly fellow!
In other words...
...Congrats on another banger!
Thank you for all these kind words.
You know I learned by myself in front of youtube by absorbing lots of tutorials. It takes time but it's doable. I still have some time to go before I can make professional sound, so I don't see what's stopping you from doing what I do. My music got better when I started to do some sound design and transitions. The swoosh, little sounds here and there. Cochu (in this jam) does the transitions really well and it sounds really professional.
Anyway, keep doing what you're doing and keep your positive messages, they're always a pleasure to read ๐
(for the submission page, thanks, I just felt like I was doing what was asked ๐ )
Very good one, it kinda reminds a bit of Hans Zimmer for some whatever reason
Thank you, even if it's far from Hans Zimmer, the comparison is nice ๐
