I love the dedication to the GameBoy. I was having a hard time figuring out what to do and it seemed to get frozen repeatedly.

Developer

thanks y'all for checking out our small game.

i recently uploaded a new version with minor gameplay tweaks:

- adjusted opening cutscene (should autoplay as before and lasts for ~10 seconds).

- added sound effects and hovering cursor icon when toggling between arrow keys (cursor icon may take a few seconds to appear upon first key press of a given scene).

aside from the project's description blurb, the game's narrative is mostly up to player interpretation. the game ends after the three (3) encounters, but if there is still confusion regarding the game's mechanics i will consider redesigns.

I wasn't able to understand how to play this, and though the game only controls with three buttons, it's hard to understand that the eyes and knife icons are selectable, and that you're switching between the two of them.

However, the premise sounds very interesting to me, and I REALLY like the artwork. I think that if this was worked on for longer, it could be great.

Not sure what to do,  but the game art really stood out

I have no idea how the game works…
