I love the attention to detail here. Even with half the screen taken up by the interface, the play area doesn't feel cramped or overloaded at all - you're making excellent use of the (limited) screen space, and the gameplay mechanics are incredibly sharp.
I really appreciate the kind words, I did what I could to try to make the game have a vertical feel while still having enough horizontal space so that it wouldn't feel like you had no place to evade the enemies bullets. :)
Really nice game, I love that you can activate hyperdrive and really send some missiles. Always a fun mechanic when a game gives you a power boost. Also really love your thumbnail art! One of my favorites!
Thanks for playing! You can also use hyperdrive to get a bunch of points and get some easy spare lives and even spawn some extra enemies if your score is high enough! :D
This is a game I would have love to play back in the days on my 3310.
Very nicely done, and I especially like the changing of the sprite when the ship is steering left or right.
I like that the controls are mapped to the numpad as they would have been on a phone, but I found it a bit difficult to play, especially when firing and moving at the same time.

Thanks so much for the feedback! While I was reading it I realized that you can use the numpad and the top number keys, you can move with the number pad but shoot with 7 and enter hyperDrive with 9 on the top number row. Completely didn't realize this until I read your comment haha It might help with it spread out like that on a keyboard.
