This is great fun, and I loved the battle minigames
Great fun and some really clever ideas. Hope this gets a full update.
Thanks! I've been doing some work on it today actually so I hope to get a full update out eventually.
good music and great fun. I like it.
Thanks for all of your kind comments. It is usually hard for me to update a game too much after a jam, but I really had so many ideas for this one that I'm hoping I can muster up the energy to get it done. I did in fact have more ideas for the battles, including more variety in the attacks for both the player and the enemies. If I ever get an update out I can send you a message :D
maybe it would help you develop it if you used another game jam to do the rest?
will you be able to use different monsters to attack or will here be different attacks?
I really liked it and really hope it gets an update. Great game!
Game was fun. I like the turn-based attack mechanics and the music. Also having simple and intuitive controls was a plus.
Simple, arrow-only controls was a big goal for me, so glad to hear you appreciated them.
I really like the use of "snake" to attack. The music feels like a Kirby melody played through the 3310. Well done!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the attacking mechanic, I have a few more ideas for it I wish I could have added to make it even cooler. And thank you for the kind words, drawing a comparison to Kirby music is quite an honor!
This game is really good, The art is nice. The battle system is fun and not like a typical RPG. This game has the best music I heard from this jam as well.
Thanks! I spent a long time on the music (probably too long lol), so I'm glad to hear you liked it.
