Interesting twist on the genre! I'm not sure if anyone else played Guitar Geek back in the day but this is giving me flashbacks. I originally thought it was ridiculously hard because I was trying to swat the fly as soon as the exclamation mark came up though! Once I realised I could wait for the slow motion I started to make some real progress.  You've made me want to try my hand at a rhythm game at some point 😄

The gameplay is highly entertaining and the art style gives me dicey dungeon vibes. The leaderboard is also a great idea as I used to play a lot of arcade games.

I think the only thing that could help improve the experience would be a difficulty setting, so beginners could have more lives etc.

The gameplay is pretty fun and the graphics are nice, except that the character models could do with some work, though they do have their charm as is. However, it's too unforgiving for newcomers, as it gives you only five lives before the game is over, with little to no opportunity to get them back. To solve this, I would've used a health bar (whatever you would've called it) instead, as well as different difficulty settings and modes, including the option to disable the fly or use another key to swat it. High score submission also doesn't work, nor is there a list for submitted scores, but hey, maybe you can fix that in due course.
