I can't believe you just casually created my favourite game on all of itch.io for a minijam!? This is brilliant!!! Reminds me of the bowser face mario party mini game which is my favourite too. The art is great, the story is so funny, the faces are hilarious and adorable - honestly well done this is amazing!!

This is really neat! I love the look of the 3d levels and that it's set in a bedroom. It's a great way to use the theme. I agree with the other comments that it's a bit easy. It felt like I didn't even need to use all the blocks and I didn't really have to think about where I placed them. As for bugs, I found I could just jump to the top of the wall blocks and walk along them. I would love to see this idea expanded upon! It's really fun!

I really liked this concept! I am a big fan of the shark and the fish bowl head character :)) The warp speed was very well done too.

There were a couple design choices that made it difficult to play, my instinct was to aim inverted with wasd so it was quite difficult to aim, especially since it moved so quickly. I did actually get a little dizzy if I moved around too much lol. 

I got a 'good job' even when I didn't hit anything at all, I appreciate the encouragement :')

Love the art and style of this game! The portraits are beautiful. Very starfox - I like all the cameos from famous cats too. I could tell you had a lot of fun with the puns and names :))

Super impressed by the polish and the amount of levels - that is a lot of work! The dialogue is really funny but I do wish there was a way to skip it sometimes, mostly on harder levels where I'm trying to figure out what to do.

The introduction of new mechanics is really well done! Every time I had gotten used to one, there was a new one to learn in the next level. Same with the characters too, I was hyped when Mauve Minx appeared lol.

The stars as hints/indicators of where you need to shoot is very helpful.

Over all I'm super impressed. My pick for favourite of the jam :)

This is a beautiful game! This is one of those jam games that you hope gets expanded upon - I felt like there was a story here that I wanted to see fully realised :)

Fun and silly game, I like how you made a very simple game but gave it a funny and unique premise. I especially loved that the steroids gave you a bigger butt when they hit you lol 😭🤭

My highscore was 127 but I don't think it got added to the leaderboard.

Overall it was fun! Good job!

This is a cute little story! I love all the silly options and the narrators responses to them :') I like that there are different endings, too. And the title is very cute!

Really fun and polished game, great job! I love the art + animation for the ship and the side bar art - super nice. 

The shop menu selecting is really creative and I love the visual changes of the gun upgrades, really makes it obvious that you're more powerful.

I wish your thumbnail showed off some of the great art in your game! It's one of the nicest looking games in the jam so it would really stand out if it was in the thumbnail.

A death screen would be nice too, I died and instantly restarted because I was already pressing spacebar which was a little jarring.

It was also cool to see all your progress in the discord! Looking forward to seeing your future projects :)

Really fun and silly game, love the idea. The intro is amazing! I love the mix and match characters, the tattoos and flower crown are my favs :)) I also love the lizard that looks like you've walked in on it in the shower, so funny 😭

I thought it was really clever that you can only click the reptilians when their eyes are showing since otherwise you don't have photo evidence. Sound design really helps that too.

My only issue was the hitboxes, you click 'all the way through' if that makes sense so sometimes I lost a life trying to click on a foreground reptilian because there was a human behind. It would also be nice if the humans you do accidentally click on disappear so you can at least click behind them.

Having a leaderboard is great and since you only had the weekend I'm very impressed you could add one in such a limited time!

Overall it's great - had a lot of fun with this one :) I hope you enjoyed your first game jam!!

Really fun game! It's a nice take on the theme that wasn't just space. I like the variety in the enemies and the different levels. The title art is cool too.

However, this game made me super dizzy! Not sure why, maybe the speed of the background or because the foreground is slower than the background, for parallax you usually want the background to be the slowest thing since it's furthest away, you see it for longer. I also felt like I couldn't blink or I'd miss something haha.

Really fun and silly game! Interesting take on the theme. I like the variety of songs + I like that they're random and you can jump right back in without excessive menuing, it was very easy to play 'just one more' 😊 Perhaps a replay button would be nice if you want to play the same song again?

The art is great, it's like Dicey Dungeons meets South Park lol. I like the random character you get each time, that's very charming.

Controls are nice - never got lost because of the tactile bump on the F key.

I would maybe tone down the fly noise until the exclamation mark appears, it got a bit distracting. (which I know is the point but yeah lol, it did get a bit much)

Leader board is a nice touch and made me wanna play more.

Really impressive game! I love the style and it's a really unique take on rhythm games. 

The controls seemed well thought out, I never felt lost on what keys to press since they have tactile bumps. I also appreciate having two keys for each hand for faster parts. The mapping always felt like it fit the song which is sometimes an issue with rhythm games. The gameplay got decently hard as well! I loved the songs especially that they were made for this jam, they had a nice variety too.

The text at the beginning adds loads of flavour but it made me unsure of what I was going into - like this might be a text heavy game. The instructions were great though, I loved the ascii art :)

I also noticed the timings only showed on the easy song - not sure if that was an intentional decision but even if you're playing hard songs it's really important to get feedback so you know what you're doing is right or wrong.

It's also a shame there's no thumbnail image since this game is easily one of the best looking games in the jam and really stands out.

Overall great game! Looking forward to what you make next :)

AAAAaa this is so cute! I love lil alien, their animations have so much character! Do they have a name? The art is great especially the title menu which is the best thumbnail in the jam imo, I love the UFO 🥰 The gravity was really fun and I loved jumping to other planets.

I felt a little impatient playing while I was waiting for the ball to stop, sometimes I would just press R to speed things up if I missed a shot.

This is so cute!! I love the names of the planets and found myself wanting to unlock them just to see what they're called :')

The music is lovely and the music pop ups are a nice touch. And the option to skip song in the menu as well is great!

I think a preview of what the planet does would be nice? Since you can yarn to anywhere it would be nice to preview in case you want to spend some extra yarn to get something specific in repeat playthroughs.

I'd also like if you could toggle auto buy - I bought one and realised it bit me in the butt when it was draining my resources, lol.

One phrasing issue was the item that says "Halves the production speed of a planet" which makes it sound like it slows it down, I guessed you meant "halves the production time"

This is so cute and relaxing. The drawing of the library is beautiful!! I liked when the pigeons sat down at the end :)

The NO button is so funny 😭 It took me a few tries playing to realise bc I just wanted to pet the cat again 🤭
