Ah, youth. This brings back a lot of fond memories of going to Jenkinson’s arcade with my parents when I was younger.

(Except, of course, the games at Jenk’s worked as intended. =p)

PONG got me the first time I played this, but I gave it another shot and realized what was going on. No lie, I’d probably be willing to play a full-on non-troll Thunder Roadster (I’d be more willing if I didn’t crash out near the finish line because my finger slipped…)

Loved this game =)

(And yes, I did laugh at the plant asking if I was me. XD)

Jolly Time was the arcade at my local mall growing up, but boy if "Jenk" wouldn't have been an apt name for this one.

The little outdoors segment with the coin collecting and the indoors area of the arcade are both charming in a lo-fi 1990s ZZT way that I really enjoyed. The playable arcade games that are broken semi-purpose are both fun to mess with and super maddening! I REALLY wanted to play Tuna Diver because that name is funny. Aeroforce reminded of wiling away hours playing Yoshi's Road Apple and PDSE and Pong made me remember briefly working on a game called "Centipede 2" and immediately giving up because ZZT centipedes don't work like Centipede centipedes! Fun little project that really took me back to the '90s.

Thank you for the kind words! I cannot say Tuna Diver is my own phrase though. It comes from the NES port of Maniac Mansion when they had to censor "Kill Thrill": https://www.crockford.com/maniac.html

Oh! Haha. Well, good callback then!

You had me fooled with the pong game.

I could say you did a Super Bang Up job overall.
