Interesting!  Reminds me of those classic lcd screens from handheld games long past.

Really nice aesthetic. Did you deliberate not want rotation higher on the board? I think that would be a nice was of speeding up the play. Also, is there a way you could bring in a bit of time pressure (like there is in Tetris with the fall blocks). Perhaps the new blocks could be falling from above the board, and have to be placed before they land? :)

Similar to the game Blockudoku - only with a nicer aesthetic and no annoying monetisation! I liked the OG Gameboy aesthetic.
