Level of Collaboration

I've only done a few game jams all with differing rules on the matter so I'm not sure, are we able to go off into teams to do our contributions? It's just I had a couple of ideas one I could properly do solo another would be a team job.

you can collaborate if you want to

do be aware that, because of how itch is as a platfom, you'll need to choose a single name to submit it under

ok, am I allowed to post a topic another topic to recruit? (also sorry for the stupid questions I just want to be 100% certain)

HostSubmitted

Yeah, that's fine

Do I have to post to itch when we are done? I use it to buy but I have an exclusive publisher account with DTRPG. Is it ok if I post it there so all my stuff is in one spot? If not, it's all good.

Never mind I see the submit thing here. I need to figure out how to not be exclusive on dtrpg.

I too am 'exclusive' on DTRPG.

I THINK this means that anything you submit to DTRPG must then only go through them. You are still allowed to submit other things elsewhere.

For instance I have a few books on Amazon that are 'exclusive' to Amazon. I don't post them on DTRPG or anywhere else.

HostSubmitted

I believe this to be correct

HostSubmitted

Well, you can put your work where-ever you want to, but if you want it to seen with the rest of the jam it has to be submitted on itch. Exclusive on DTRPG just means that you can't post the same thing to itch and DTRPG.

Submitted

I'm going to just submit here. It's what I get for not thinking when signing up at DTRPG haha.

HostSubmitted

before I give you more advice, can you hop on twitter and DM me a screen shot of a DTRPG sales report from your last 30 days?

Submitted

DMed you. Thanks.

Speaking of exclusivity, I didn't see anything in the itch.io TOS that says what I upload here has to be exclusive, but I'm concerned I might have missed something. Can anyone knowledgeable speak to that?

This shouldn't be a problem for the jam, but I have some stuff uploaded to RPGPUB that I'm thinking of reuploading here.

itch doesn't have exclusivity demands.

Awesome. I didn't think so but wanted to make sure before I uploaded anything.
