Tracks 2 & 3 surprised me, especially track 3. They went along with chord progressions and melodies that are right up my alley. I liked them quite a lot.

Description
This soundtrack is electronic, to be played behind a platformer. Each track represents a shift in the speed and tone of the game; in one level, a downward spiral with a heavy gravity factor, in the next, an all-out sprint forward with a new energy behind you pushing you forward.
In order:
1. I Wish It'd Be Me - a wishful soliloquy
2. It Must Not Be/Why Can't It Be - a lament followed by a hope
3. Go After It! - a new feeling of energy driving you towards your goal
4. A Wish Upon a Shooting Star - a warmth knowing your wish has come true

(EDIT: I didn't realize this would be the main description, so I had a more full one in the downloaded folder. The link to a google doc with that description is here:

I hope you enjoy the journey this soundtrack travels through!
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The main goal of the game I imagined was for the player to want to be given life by one of the life-giving asteroids or comets, but isn't in the right place. I also used the motif of a comet or "shooting star" a few times with the whole "wish upon a shooting star" idea.
