Description
The first track called "Emilè's Theme" represents an old and strange professor on an old academy. It have an intro alternating between high and low notes and then start a kind of waltz in a 7/8 time. Both represent some of his characteristics, but not all of them.
The second track, named "No Escape" shows us the hidden side of the professor. He is chasing his prey, a helpless student. In theme A, the melody of the previous track has changed a bit now it's accompanied by an arpeggio. As the theme A ends, the track gets slower and quieter. In theme B, if seems that the prey is safe, but it stays alert. The harmony and melody have some dissonances that represent how scared the prey is and then... the chase returns, faster and louder until the prey was finally caught. It couldn't escape.
In the last track, I was inspired by some Chopin pieces like, "Winterwind" etude, "Revolucionary" etude and his Prelude in E minor.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
"No Escape" represents a defenseless prey running away and how it thinks it is safe to be captured later, so I think it fits the theme "runaway".
