Description
The genre is "Atmospheric"? .... There is only one track and I used Reaper to make it. The track could be used for a lot of purposes, from the main menu theme to some chasing scene, etc. But I imagined as someone frantically running away through the woods

Message from the artist:
I tried to portray someone running away from something in the forest, and recreate a spooky atmosphere of the once fairy-tale forest. I hope you like it.

Theme:

Runaway
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
There is someone running away in the forest... or at least I imagine that :D

Great atmospherics. I really liked the ending. The changes in rhythm were quite unsettling. I got an almost heartbeat-stopping kind of vibe from the ending.

Developer

Yeah, I was trying to achieve something like that for the ending, thank you for listening!.

I listened to 'Run for Your Life'; somehow making it sound so chill and so intense at the same time; I love the heartbeat bass and the anxious, somewhat alarming tuba patterning. I can really visualize somebody moving quickly and very quietly - or else.

Thanks for the listen!

Glad you liked it, I appreciate your insights!

Scary stuff! Makes me think of a horror movie. Liked the textures used.

Developer

I spent a lot of time looking for some textures that  I liked, Thank you!

I love this spooky track-- definitely belongs in a sneak/chase scene in some horror movie. The ending is definitely a  highlight. Nice job, and keep writing!

Developer

I also like how it ends, I appreciate your comment!

Spooky! Theme reminds me creepy version of Nutcracker, underlying beat is pretty nervous, good job!

Developer

Thank you!

I don't know how managed to mix something suspense/dark and sweet at the same time, well done. The mix could be a little bit more loud though, its really quiet.

Developer

Yeah, I ran out of time while solving some clipping problems and I think I accidentally messed up the volume. Thank you for your feedback!

I got a rather eerie vibe from this one, really makes you feel like you're running away from some creature that lurks in the forest.

I found this track somewhat repetitive in some spots but I'm starting to feel like that actually adds to the atmosphere. The lack of instruments (at least from I was able to hear) made me feel like I was alone, yet something was watching me.

Personally, I enjoyed it. Hopefully my nitpicks didn't come off as rude (If so I apologize)  Maybe I'll stop by later and have a listen to your other tracks.

Best of luck.

I appreciate your comment, not rude at all, the repetitiveness maybe was me running out of ideas lol, but later I thought that when you are alone in the forest there isn't much happening until something happens so I decided to leave it like that :D

Also I would love to hear your comments on my other tracks, but don't expect them to be like this, most of the time is me experimenting with different things so everything kinda sounds very different...

You definitely captured a chase in the forest well, wish you  composed more!

Developer

Thank you! I wish that as well but sometimes it's hard for me to come up with something I really like so most of my compositions never see the light of the day and tend to vanish in the depths of my hard drive 😅
