Some really cool transitions there, and the background with the arpeggios creates a really immersive atmosphere, Piano melody seems a bit jumpy and hard to follow at times, works well with the bouquet of instruments though. Also well rounded with dynamics. Excellent work!

Neat theme both forward and backward. Definitely has some fantasy vibes. Thanks for sharing!

Felt kind of lost in this tune, but in a good way. Would fit a short search and reorientation phase in a game. Thanks for sharing!

I like the percussive texture throughout. Was looking for more mirrored patterns though besides that back and forth piano chord. Thanks for sharing!

So many elements come together nicely. I love the e guitar. first half sounds backward to me and second half forward, unexpected. Nice touch too with the ticking clock. Fits your story really well. Great work!

Nice job building up suspense with the strings and piano intro. Did not hear any reversed patterns, but sometimes they are hard to identify. Could definitely see this in some dark story based game. Great work!

Definitely has an uncanny vibe, evil drone kinda thing. Also nailed the robotic drone feel. Nice job!

What an awesome lick, works insanely well forward and backward. Impressive how much variation you created around the same pattern. I could listen to this forever. Never tried BeepBox myself but I cherish every entry using this, so cool!

soundcloud link isn't working for me!

Awesome drums, love it. Also on theme with the mirrored patterns. Nice work!

N'z Tshh N'z Tshh N'z Tshh. Really hit the 90s Techno vibe, then the random announcement in the middle, haha glorious!

Does have a dark sense of "ticking clock" urgency throughout, and works well both ways. Nice job!

Yeah that's the thing with syncopation. They work great one way around, but can sound funny when reversed. I am motivated to find a way to do this tho, thanks!

Screenshot definitely helps. Thanks!

Ah, makes sense!

That DAW screenshot is a piece of art!  Great way to show the mirror symmetry of the track, although I don't understand why some patterns are piano roll when forward, and recordings when reversed. Is there a technical reason? The mechanical/robotic theme works really well forward and backwards. Fits your story perfectly too. Nice job!

Really fits the picture you are painting of a dark fantasy world. I noticed the "flip" in the middle of each track where the arpeggios change direction. first upward (overworld?) and then downward (underworld?). But then you have to separate tracks for overworld/underworld with the same pattern, so my interpretation does not fit lol. Very immersive atmosphere though. I remember we had a Two Worlds theme several Jams ago, would have been a great submission for that too!

"All things become crab" hahaha. Can't be unseen. Worked out really well forward and backward. I love the "turnaround" section with the arpeggios, like losing orientation for a while and then finding your way back. I see we had some similar ideas with the music box to create a magical/mystical atmosphere. Definitely fits the picture you are painting!

Neat story. Otto is also a palindrome, so definitely on theme. I was listening for a reversed pattern somewhere but couldn't tell (probably just me, hard to hear these sometimes). I like the subtle, soft instrumentation, especially the piano part. Thanks for sharing!

I used the piano roll screenshot to follow along. That motif works really well forward and backwards, similar dark/unsettling vibe both ways. Thanks for sharing!

Strong space vibes here! Would fit a somewhat dark Metroid-like game in my imagination, nice job.

I like how much is going on in this track. Somewhat dark atmosphere would fit an old school shoot'em up in a sinister lab or something. cool synth effects!

Fun fact: (()) is not a palindrome, but ())( is. :D

Thank you so much for listening so closely and taking the time to write this. Means a lot!

Oh cool!

This is magical!

Not sure what it is, but there are instant underwater vibes, especially when the harps come in. You take this track to so many places. Would not have expected the voices but they fit so well. Some really beautiful chord combos too. Ending left me hanging a bit. I was so captivated I would have wished for this to go on and on! Maybe try making it loop?

Very well polished track with attention to detail. This was very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing!

Love the cover art hahaha. Really magical piano section with those arpeggios and a very pretty flute theme. Instant RPG vibes. This is such a nice chord progression too, a joy to listen to. Thanks for sharing!

Very pretty theme, the strings countermelodies go really well with it. I am not an expert but this sounds very well orchestrated. Amazing dynamic range, and you always change things up before fatigue sets in. Was a joy to listen to. Thanks for sharing!

I love the playful nature of this soundtrack. Diaphus Shop is my favorite, that subtle Jazz vibe is really fitting when browsing through a selection of odd items. Thanks for sharing!

Title: I love the chord changes, that subtle piano melody with crickets in the background made me smile, very cute!

The Aquarium has a menacing quality with those fast arpeggios in the background.  Sets a vivid scene.

Glimpse of Wonder. Love the Waltz feel. Some very cute motives too. I like how the theme moves between different instruments, and then the crickets again, haha, such a nice touch.

Drowning: Powerful and menacing sounds like panic. Love the buildup around 1:20, and the soft mallet section in between. This track has so many ups and downs. Never gets boring!

Summer night festival: More crickets! (would expect them here the most). Great choice of instrumentation here for the "folk fest" vibe. Once again very engaging call/response patterns with the melody in different groups. I would have totally been happy with something simple here, but you take this track in so many directions, that's awesome!

Distant Recollections: Makes me feel warm and sad at the same time. Choke full of nostalgia. Subtle strings create this effect I think. And there are our crickets again, ha!

Fantastic soundtrack. Tells a vivid story and I enjoyed every part of it. Very well finished too, I think I can learn a lot from such examples. Thank you for sharing!

I'm a fan of the harp/strings combo. Instant RPG feel. Wanderer of the Sea: I like the sliding down/up effects in the strings towards the end. Very playful. How do you create this? Dance of the Sea: Instant pirate vibe with the 6/8 jig. Neat orchestration too, I like how you move the theme around in different sections. Very energetic piece with attention to details. Really solid entry for your first time. kudos!

Some neat synth work here. Very laid back. Waking up sets the apocalyptic world scene you imagine immediately. That "tear in space time" effect at the end is really cool. No idea how you create this. love the arpeggio chord changes in Going Places, and the change in pace half way prevents fatigue. Subtle dissonances in Being Safe feel a bit menacing, as if being safe were something to wish for, or as a reminder that danger lurks outside. Very energetic boss theme, could fit with a high speed race or similar. Bad ending feels outright depressing. would not wish this on my worst enemies! Good ending is somewhat sad too, but in a motivating way, perfect fit for the apocalyptic setting once again. Very cohesive soundtrack that fits the whole story well. This was very enjoyable. Thank you!

Well finished pieces with attention to detail.  That soft Jazz vibe throughout would be perfect for an underwater level. The piano sections are beautiful. Nice job!

Some neat percussion work. I think I can learn from you as I am not very comfortable with drums. Free is Fleeting was my favorite. Very powerful!

Good strong coherence between tracks, not one seemed out of place, paints a clear picture for the game. My Latin is a bit rusty, but I think it is "somnus infinitus". "Trauma" was a real jump scare, haha. Love the music box tune in the end. nice job!

Love the diversity of the tunes. Fifty Feet below put a smile on my face. I love the guitar and keyboard solos in between, so pretty. Could vamp forever on that chord progression, haha. nice job!

Such a beautiful soundscape in Memories. Love the additions too with the birdsong and little filler melodies. Kudos on playing this yourself, too. Some really pretty chords and scales in there. "Mother" was my favorite. Major Keith Jarrett vibes. I love that style. Really nice performance, this made my day!

Very cool buildup in the main menu theme. does have a space-feel to it! I love the game idea, and the planet themes capture the essence of each world well. I particularly enjoyed the Zulturum theme, it has so much depth. Well done!

Lovely title theme with emphasis on a clear melody that is recognizable in the followng tracks, too. I love the gameboy-sounds too. Sounds really authentic, and you could have totally fooled me with the gameboy title image you made, haha. Non-threatening vibe throughout fits well with the pond setting. That Battle theme is glorious, too. Very cool harmonies, and the victory jingle in the end made me smile. Fantastic work!

Hey, you have a Waltz too! very pretty combo of instruments and careful attention to detail with little fillers here and there.

Shadows in the Desert Sun sounded more action-y. Achieved western/desert vibe with the e-guitar, reminds me of Ennio Morricone.

Well done!
