Description
The game is like a platformer mixing fast-paced and relaxing sections. I imagine the game taking place within natural landscapes, hence the song names. I composed each track by first starting from a very simple musical idea, then adding stuff around it as I went on. For "Numb Forest" the basic idea was a simple i-vii-i-ii- chord progression that emerged from jamming on my guitar. I used FL Studio as my DAW, and Guitar Rig 6 helped me give more flavor to the instruments' sounds.

Theme:

Runaway
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The song names are inspired by the picture, and the mood of the songs was made to reflect the mystery and tension one might encounter when running away to unknown places.

I really like those guitar chords in Numb Forest. Neat! Thanks for sharing!

Great job! I'm getting Bastion vibes from this!

Really dig the guitar and bass tone chouce. Felt like the kind of drums you used begged for a B section (esp Numb Forest) that added a powerful counterpoint. Was always hearing a grungey, 90s rock track on the cusp of breaking out. Still good stuff; just think I was waiting for what you had next! I know it can be tough to fully flesh out ideas in a little time frame, though.

I enjoyed the instrumentation choices which I think really let the musical ideas come through. The synth/guitar combos in 'Chasm' were really effective. Well done.

Very refreshing combination of instruments in song Chasm. The chords in Numb Forest create a peculiar mysterious atmosphere, the pace is nice

Indeed the chords on the second one are great! Reminds me a bit of Tristram in Diablo
