Description
An instrumental soundtrack made with FL Studio for a game where the main character and their friend work in now-parallel worlds alongside the citizens of their world to reconstruct the link that previously connected their worlds together. The soundtrack took the main rhythmic idea from a soundtrack called "You" and its variants from the anime and visual novel series called "Higurashi: When They Cry" (as I struggled to modify the rhythmic pattern without modifying the overall vibe to a more "sad" or more "happy" vibe), and the melodies of the soundtrack, colour-coded pink and blue for the girl and bubble figure in the photo theme respectively, were my attempt at representing their feelings on whether they can play together like in their past.

Theme

Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The soundtrack attempts to express the feelings of the girl and the bubble figure after being separated after an unknown world creation, with the photo theme depicting both characters' core memory and motivation to restore the link connecting their worlds.

I found the piece a bit robotic, but that's from the software, I reckon. Having it played by a person would make it so much more flowing and smooth, so it's not the composition at all, just the tech. Nicely done!

Nice piano work. The melody is nice. People have given you good feedback on making it sound more lifelike and dynamic. You might also consider adding some variation to the bassline (e.g., not always ending the lines on what I think is the 7th of the chord), but the composition overall is good. Thanks for making and sharing!

I think this is great! As others have said, it could use some polish, but I like the general idea. I especially loved the movement into a more robust sound at about a minute in.

very nice! I Think it might have been a little quiet but it was really good!

Nice piece! Agreed with Austin that shifting the velocities would help a lot when composing piano pieces in a daw like this.

To Our Past - Heavily needs velocities worked on, it will help give it more emotion in the quieter sweet parts, and impact on the bigger parts! Composition wise sounds great.
