Description
Medieval inspired song for OST Composing Jam #7. Made for a fantasy RPG, or a puzzle game/platformer with a medieval setting.

Message from the artist
I started composing music a few years ago as a hobby. I've learned almost everything on my own, and I hope to keep improving myself to compose as much music as I can. Thank you very much for listening!

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
the song evolves as a personal idea in one's own world, taking shapes and forms until it becomes what it really is: A pleasant memory? a worry? an abstract idea?

Cool Mixolydian tune. And then a touch of Phrygian Dominant. Very cool chord choices. Great work!

Well, it sound like Opening Theme (Menu Screen).

I can hear the cursor, clicking, tabs sound effects while listening in the music (in imagination 😂). I feel like I am setting up in the settings menu.

Good job because you can actually get some musical elements from this single track and let them develop and become another tracks of their own.

Thank you so much! I like to use different melodies in the same song, glad you noticed it :)

I can definitely hear the medieval flavor! While it badly needs a story to support it, the music itself is quite unique and interesting. Great work!

Thank you so much!

A fellow LMMS user!!!

I liked the soundfonts used, it gives off a nice and noble flair to the track. Harpsicord is the one my favorite instruments and I like it being used well in here

Thank you so much my fellow LMMS user!!

I love compositions in medieval styles, and I think you did a great job at capturing the vibe! I enjoyed listening to your music a lot! Out of curiosity, is there any symbolic significance to the flamingoes?

Developer

I'm so glad you liked it! I was just listening to your submission (10/10  btw) so it's an honor that you liked my little song haha

I used a photo of flamingoes because they've always had some kind of royalty vibe to me (maybe because of Alice in Wonderland haha), and the harpsichord is usually linked to royal/medieval stuff.
