Dragon's Wrath: Love that SNES style choir. Love the use of Dorian. Very pretty. Gives me both title theme and overworld theme vibes!
Scale Town: More of that choir, and even more Dorian! 5/4 is so nice. I love this track so much.
Your composition style is very reminiscent of JRPG OSTs! Great work!
Very nice composition! Good work!
The virtual instruments aren't as off-putting as I would expect. The composition more than makes up for it. Good work!
Wow! These are fantastic compositions!
The first track is just the perfect vibe : the use of the choir, with that fantastic (and pretty catchy) melody. The melody going up the scale is such a "basic" yet powerful tool, and it really sounds great.
The second track is the epitome of energetic. The percussion, the melody, and especially the use of 5/4 (which is objectively the best tine signature lol) makes it so fun and definitely a great town theme. The use of choir here threw me off for a second, but it sounds cool, and lends a nice sense of cohesion.
I truly think that the only "problem" with this is the VST's instruments. While they do give a cool sense of a retro aesthetic, I think a bit more tweaking would've been better.
Anyhow - this is GREAT! I loved hearing every second, and I'm hoping for the best for you in this jam!
The town theme was really good! The 5/4 time signature and fun percussion kept my attention the whole way through.
I love the 5 feel in your town theme!!!
I like the title theme, it feels very PS2 era title screen, like Final Fantasy X or Wild Arms 4 (before the anime opening). Really love the piano part, the layers in the violins and chorus make sure it doesn't feel awkwardly empty... this is cool! Same with Scale Town, it's so vibrantly a PS2 town from Wild Arms 4 or some JRPG. I love the way you write and layer your lead instruments with accompaniment, the introduction of that guitar with the percussion claps (forgetting their name) gave it so much style, ugh I want more. This is good!
