Description
It had gotten late on your way to Las Vegas. After driving for almost 12 hours, you see a light spilling on the the empty highway. You take a pitstop at the bar, shutting your car off and walking inside. Only a few occupants are in, and the that are aren't very talkative. Sitting at the bar you order a drink. After a few drinks you start feeling it. Everything around you starts to blur together and morph, with the music playing out of the dingy radio on the counter becoming distant and echoing. Is it just the drinks or something more?
In between Drinks is a song I made with FL Studio, for a non-existent game where the character slips between a small dingy bar and a Purgatory-esque realm. Throughout the game the character would walk through the bar and unsettling things may happen, for example walking through the bathroom door and finding itself in a grey, cloudy realm. This jam was really fun to make and very tiring x_x , but nonetheless rewarding in the end! Thank you for listening; constructive criticism and feedback are always welcome and appreciated !!

Love this, sweet guitar! Wish those background elements in the middle of the song came in a little louder, to help seal the theme a lil better
Thank you very much for the feedback! I admit it was a little strange mixing but, I gained alot from it!
I really like the guitar accompaniment, it sounds very natural and has a nice and chill Rock'n'Roll-ballad sound to it. I think the song sort of lacks a lead part; to me it feels sort of like a karaoke backing track. Which also means I guess this is a pretty cool track for improvising over, I'll have to try that later! Also, I do agree that it fits the idea of sitting in a bar with music just playing in the background.
Not sure how well it fits the theme of the contest, to be honest, but other than that, pretty nice entry.
Thanks! I agree, I really relied on the part of a game aspect then really cementing the two worlds theme in the actual track using some fx or such.
i loved the tone. It fits perfect!
Thank you! It was definitely different mixing then i'm used to, but very fun!
Chill-out on the highway ^_^ nice job.
It was a really fun atmosphere to create! Thank You!(Sorry for the Late response)
I love the dreamy guitar!
Thank you! (sorry for the late response! I was away for a bit)
I liked a lot the atmopshere of the track, it convey very well the empty and weird bar feeling. It reminded my of liminal place which is a thing that I love. Very cool!
Thank you! It was really fun to make!
