Nice atmosphere from these short tracks, I like the contrast between the pieces
Really enjoyed the sound and atmosphere of Other World!
I love how off-beat (tonally speaking) every track feels! I find the odd 5/5 timing on Crossing the Divide to very fun and interesting, though my personal favorite is probably Other World. Great job!
Wow, this is really high quality! Big respect for the time signature play, too!
Great concept! I especially enjoyed Abyss and Other World!
Crossing the Divide – I think that indistinct language use in video game music is a super cool technique that adds an element of other-worldliness or fantasy to music. I am a fan of the bouncy major chords and I like the progression you used a lot. This is probably my favorite of the 4!
Teleportation – This has a taste of Metroid to it. I like the spaciness you used and the vamp between the two adjacent major chords. The female vocal soaring in the background is a very nice touch!
Abyss – Great use of pitched percussion here. This is reminiscent of classic factory or machinery-type levels and I enjoy the use of bass drum with the buzzing electronic sounds together to create an interesting groove.
Other World – This change in pace and flavor/style really rounds out your OST while using common elements that make it feel cohesive. Overall, this is a great OST and an impressive amount of different music to have made in the short time-frame. Thank you for sharing!
"Other World" sounds fantastic! Nice job.
thank you!!
Nice work! I especially liked the atmosphere of Teleportation and Abyss
Thank you!!
This ost has a nice variety of music ! I would be curious to know the actual time signature in "Crossing the Divide" ?
Thank you! It's in 11/8, broken into 123 12 123 123
Awesome ! I really like unusual rythms
Hey, is that Hollywood Choirs I hear? I feel like I'd recognize that chant anywhere.
It's actually choirs from Metropolis Ark 1! I guess they're just that similar haha
Great work, I really enjoyed your tracks, especially the chorus!
Thank you!!
Damn, i love the chorus and the time signature in crossing the divide, good job
Glad you noticed!!! and thank you!
That last track makes me feel like I'm watching a 70s Italian flick. Love it.
Haha, thank you!!
I really enjoyed Crossing in Divide. It reminded me a little of the One Piece arrangements.
thank you, i'll have to check some of them out!
All of these give a very different yet really cool sound that I haven't seen with a lot of these pieces. It's seems very real and I can visualize an environment from the songs alone!
Thank you!!!
I love the way you traversed different styles to convey the desired themes. The adventure gives way to an ethereal, dream like place. Great work!
Thank you so much, thats what I was going for!
The teleportation and abyss tracks are awesome! Great aura
Thanks!!
You covered various styles here, which is pretty awesome! My favourite is the Crossing The Divide. It sounds epic! I wonder though if given more time, you would mix it a bit more so that it sounds fuller and dynamics (i.e. the bass more bassy but also brighter, if you know what I mean, sorry if I'm not making much sense, I'm a noob with mixing terms). Overall it's great compositions!
I see what you mean, thank you! I think i may have slightly cut the highs in the bass which made it sound less bright, that probably was a bad move
It fits the theme very well! (Especially Abyss)
Thank you!!
I like the chant-like vocals in the beginning. Paints a nice picture.
I really appreciate that!
