Description
- Genres:

Other Side: Cinematic, Ambient, Orchestral
Self: Ambient
Change Of Path: Mid Tempo EDM
Traitor: Cinematic, Orchestral
Not Found: Chiptune
Alternate Direction: ? (i don't really know what genre would this be)

- Concept:

I imagined a story based (maybe action too?) game set in some sort of dystopian society (i.e. in the picture theme) where the main character is trying to find where exactly their mind state is. So the two worlds are not literal but instead they are the representation of the characters' minds and personalities.
The overall mood and current connections of the character would be reflected in the soundtrack but they would all have some aspects in common.

- What each track represents:

Other Side: this would probably be the menu theme and also set the ongoing motif
Self: a calm reflection on the starter state of the main character
Change Of Path: representation of the association with enemies/ bad people/ and the consequent effects on the main character
Traitor: (probably a boss fight btw) the aftermath of the main character's choices and actions
Not Found: this was designed to be the outlier of this whole pack, i imagine it would be the soundtrack of some sort of mini game and it would act as a kind of palette cleanser in a way
Alternate Direction: also some sort of palette cleanser but to represent a "game over"

- Other details:

DAWs used: FL studio 20 for everything (+ bandlab for recording the guitar on alternate direction)
Cover art by: me :)

Artist comment:
i have to mention that "self" was a recycled track (more info on the project's page)

Theme:

Two Worlds
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
Not only the visuals inspired the mood of most of the tracks, but it and the theme also inspired the game concept.

These are all SO good! It amazes me how much variety there is between them, and yet they're all so high quality as well. My personal favorite was probably Change in Path. All the drops were so good, I was genuinely bopping my head the whole time! I also love the concept. I would honestly love to play a game like this, especially with this music scoring it. Amazing job!
