The experience was a lot of fun, i loved the soundtrack of the game and that's why I wanted to do a cover (in the end I did something more difficult, a medley lol), Joel Corelitz composed the soundtrack guided by the sound of the locomotives, that's what i think, idk. The game is based on a train trip, so that's why I find some sense in it (the locomotive rhythm).
In the end I did this medley thinking about how the Eastward sequel would be.

Haven't played this game yet, but it's on my list. This makes me want to play it even more! Nails those chiptune sounds but with a fuller, more modern production style, and it's the best of both worlds. Plus that tempo shift rules! definitely sounds like a train shifting into overdrive. Nice work!
The discordance at the beginning, the transitions (especially second to third sections), the overall vibe. I think you nailed it, genuinely. Balance, tempo, it's got it all.
