Message from the artist
I created this OST with the implementation of Palindromes in mind! Nearly every section of this score has an element being played both forwards and backwards, being brought through bells, strings, synths, and winds! I even implemented reversed instruments and pizzicato strings to play with the idea of reversing samples to further play off the theme! I imagine that if this OST were played in a game; it would center around someone leaving Earth for the first time and exploring the new galaxy while also missing their home. I used Ableton as my DAW of choice! Runtime is 1:32.

Difficulty

A (Normal)

Make something that has elements that can be listened to both backwards and forwards.

I really loved this track! Some instruments seem to be drowned by others, but other than that I think it's great

This was a great piece. Very bright and vibrant.

Very bright and fun!

I liked the flutes a lot they added so much whimsy with the synth too!

Great entry!

There's a lot of charm to this that's sadly lost int he mix. Very tight and compressed, but otherwise a really great track.

That's really strange because barely any compression was added.. I think boosting more of the high frequencies in the winds and strings would have helped with that tight feeling you mentioned, and would also help to add more airiness! Thanks for the comment!

Really lovely, full composition. Could 100% see this being implimented into a charming indie game of exploration!
