Description
Track 1: Title Screen
Track 2: Exposition — the part of the game where gives the player a brief background of the game universe
Track 3: Boss Hallway
Track 4: The Boss was Charles Mingus this Whole Time
Message from the artist:
I wrote this soundtrack with a light-hearted RPG in mind. In the time I had available, I was only able to make tracks that I believe would appear towards the beginning and the end of the game. I hope you enjoy! :D
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
Track 1: Title Screen — I felt that the track fit the visuals of the sunny mountain horizon shown in the picture theme. On top of that, something about that image (maybe the slimes?) made me feel obligated to use the melodica in my soundtrack.
Track 2: Exposition — Every journey needs some darkness and mystique somewhere. I imagined that my game would reveal a taste of the secrets it holds at some point in the beginning, playing this track while showing the player text and imagery to set the player up for what is to come.
Track 3: Boss Hallway — I imagined that the mountains on the horizon of the picture theme would contain a powerful boss. This track serves to both intimidate the player with its dark timbres, while also congratulating them for making it this far with its triumphant melody.
Track 4: The Boss was... — It would be a disservice to the light-hearted picture theme to end with a brutal boss fight. My game ends with a friendly battle with American jazz pianist and bassist, Charles Mingus

Cool mood, really liked it ^^
This was incredible. Definitely a journey to listen to :) I love track four but I found myself wishing there was slightly more urgency to it. I know it's friendly, but even a friendly boss fight would feel a bit urgent imo. Still, great work.
An OST resolutely turned towards the brass, syncopations, and interesting jazz twist. The baroque side of the third piece further highlights its daring tonal plan, as well as the finale, which is as surprising as it is dynamic. An OST all in finesse, without big orchestral effect, and which lets imagine a game with good vibes, while reserving moments of intense mystery as the second track suggests. An interesting work that will perfectly illustrate a great video game adventure.
Last track really grooves! Other are nice, but I feel like mixing suffers a bit.
The boss theme is Jazzy af! That's always good :) I like a lot the "tarirora ro, PAM!" end. Very nice soundtrack which progressively develops his energu till the end.
I absolutely loved the last track :D
Great work.
Melodica is always welcome, a strong beginning to what ends up being a varied and lighthearted soundtrack. Well done, thanks for sharing!
I really like the idea of having the boss theme be a smooth jazz arrangement- something I've never thought about doing that I really enjoy! Charles Mingus being the big bad guy in a game would be super hilarious- would love to see it happen one day lol. Also really like the progression of Boss Hallway.
"The Boss Was Charles Mingus This Whole Time"! Absolutely love it!! Really great arranging for this track, sounds super authentic <3
The last track is jazzy and comfy! I really like it. It's my personal favourite :) Cool music, good job!
I like that all your music has distinctly different vibes. My favourite is the Charles Mingus boss fight theme. It has enough variety to keep it interesting throughout the entire track. I especially like the bit of pizzazz you added at 0:33. Its definitely a worthy accompanying track for the greatest twist in gaming history. Learning that Charles Mingus was the boss... I still remember that vividly from the last time I played that game 10 years ago.
So cool! Love that sense of humour
