Nice work! I think this piece matches your hypothetical game very well. While I understand Skremzy's point RE reverb, I think the style/genre you aimed for suits that drier tone.
Awesome use of counterpoint!

Explain your hypothetical game concept & how you interpreted the theme!
This is a song for an imaginary Pokémon Legends game. It would focus on the origins of Team Rocket, following 2 of Giovanni's great great grandparents when they were 10 years old. In this game, Jesse's great great grandmother and James' great great grandfather would be the two partners/rivals in the game. I haven't thought much about the story to be honest, I just imagine this as the intro music. I was very inspired by Pokémon themes while I made this.
So, while it's not exactly a hero's journey, I imagine it would be a more mature and saddening Pokémon story in which Giovanni goes from being a normal kid to hardened and cold due to whatever experiences he faces during the story.
What genre is your soundtrack?
Orchestral
Anything else you'd like to add?
I only used the whole tone scale during the first couple of bars, it became too difficult to reincorporate it after that point. The closest I got to reusing it was the chromatic mediant in the B section. Unfortunately, I'm not too good at using the whole tone scale, but this was definitely a learning experience!
