Thank you so much! I tried to prepare myself as emotionally as possible
Green tea helped a lot :>
WOW!
Akt 1 is a big, interesting, well-crafted and mesmerizing composition... The leading flute alone is mesmerizing, and the instruments accompanying it make the picture even more beautiful!
Akt 2 - A quieter composition... and no less good! A beginning that seems to say “it's about to get hard”... but the track on the contrary becomes more and more ominous and melancholic!
Overall... It's beautiful! I love long soundtracks: They allow to reveal the melody to the fullest! And you did it!
I can definitely say - that your publication is in my favorites (I'll even save the tracks to my playlist, hehe).
Rawr :>
Oh yeah, you did the soundtrack in a style that I particularly like!
city falling apart and im in the middle - Cool, dynamic track with a good drum part! (I LOVE DRUMS). I like the main theme and melody!
help me i think im lost - Ok... This one already uses a combination of cool effects, powerful bass, and I also like the title!
Overall - interesting idea! But the overall impression is a bit spoiled by the overall mix... In the first track the drums a little bit muffle the main melody... In the second track the bass is buzzing a lot (To be fair - I have a lot of problems with the mix, lol)
Good job! Looking forward to more music from you! I want to watch how you can evolve :>
Rawr!
Unfortunately - I'm not a big fan of conventional orchestral music and for that reason I don't know how to rate it at all....
...but from my philistine point of view (and also from the point of view of my ears) - it was very fabulous! Good melody, a little epic in the middle and atmospheric piano!
Cool job :>
Rawr
Oh. your publication, as far as I understand correctly, I listened to it several times before the deadline (thanks to publications that can be listened to before the rating period!)
Overall - the overall atmosphere is simultaneously spooky, ancient, mesmerizing and a bit creepy :>
Good job! Pad's is beautiful!
Rawr
Well... It's time for flutes and deserts!
Definitely one of the most impressive soundtracks of this jam! First of all it's due to the melody and the way the track goes and...
Damn, why is it that when I listen to this track I get vibes of old Soviet movies? Exactly the ones that use either oriental or slightly Spanish themes....
Overall - pretty cool work! 10 holiday bazaar title themes out of 10
Entering an Ancient Place - The track does a good job of conveying the feeling that something curious is beginning.... Sounds dreamy and pensive!
Lonely Reflection - Similar - but more relaxed and a bit sad...
Overall - quite an interesting publication! Of course, I'm not a professional, but I'd like to hear a bit more variety in the tunes (I have a lot of problems with that, by the way, lol)
Good job! :>
Edda - I can hear the overall emotionality, dynamics and mood intensifying.... Light choir, violin, piano - a standard but soulful set of instruments!
Expedition - WAAAH I LOVE THIS BELL AaaAH... (sorry). A calm, peaceful melody that creates a somewhat nostalgic feeling! I hear old life, sand, flutes, sand, wind, and... sand.
Lost Files - Oh! Looks like someone finally got to play the solo they've been wanting to play their whole life! The sounds of signals, light violins, bass strings, effects and BELLS make for an interesting experience! Did I encounter something difficult? Do I need C++ skills to understand what I found? Or will knowledge of morse code be enough?
Revelation - angelic choir... Light effects. Sand again? Bells? COOL!
All in all - you made a nice and atmospheric ambient, which I associate well with sand....
SAND
This track creates quite an interesting picture....
I see in front of me a small relaxed family, a large Central Asian family that has stopped somewhere in the canyons, living in a portable yurt and just relaxing while the already trained youngsters walk the terrain.... The grandmother, along with her daughter, granddaughter and young son are just paying tribute to tradition - playing a little tune that echoes throughout the neighborhood... At this time, the old man falls asleep to the music of his relatives...
...The camera slowly passes through the shanyrak, flies upwards and stops in a close-up over the whole area....
Cool track! I love it!
Yay! Space! Hurray!
Approaching Wolf 1061C - And from the very beginning we hear a mesmerizing wonder! Sounds of space, mechanisms for long-distance flights, ship's hardware, moods and sounds as if coming from under the deep crust of an unknown planet... And in the background of all this bitcrash! Hurray!
The Air Feels Like Wool - Small, a bit mysterious, general atmosphere as if I saw something I shouldn't have seen (Alien cacti? A fish bone?).
Discovering We Are Not The First Ones - WOW... First of all: there is some machinarium vibe from this track, but only here the bass is stronger.... I like the rhythmic nature of the track! Flutes, pads, “voices” of alien angels, sounds of ruined equipment and of course BASS. Increasing dynamics towards the middle of the track - cool! Fading sound as if saying goodbye to me...
All in all - pretty cool publication! It has an interesting spacey but abandoned atmosphere, beautiful effects and sounds... BASS
I liked it!
Rawr :>
WOW. Definitely one of the most expressive posts of this jam! Well.... let's get started!
Unveiled Entrance (Intro) - Effects, sfxes and a sad violin against dreamy pads.... What else do you need to be happy? Well, only the realization that there's more to come! (Drums and other instruments are good too!)
Lullaby of the Depths - We're changing our location... Where are we this time? It looks like something either flooded or just really wet.... Even the violin seems to have gotten a bit wet :>
Lament of the Faded Market - This track brings some nostalgia.... AND WATCH
The Silent Archive - It's sad... Huge tons of information that is forever forgotten...
Timeless Observatory - WATCH. AGAIN. We write something down in a notebook..... The overall mood of the track is like saying goodbye to me.... Is this the end?
All in all - wonderful work! Good mix, selection of sounds and instruments and in general - cool! The general atmosphere gives quite strange vibes of mixed wistfulness, sadness, lostness, new discoveries and.... slime rancher?
P.S. To be honest, I listened to your post right after you published it (about a day before the deadline). So consider that I listened to your work at least three times..... and it was wonderful!
I want more. Rawr :>
Allright... you guys officially have the best cover art of this jam..... (At least he's really nice).
Good mix! Good atmosphere! Good violins and a really nice synthesizer guy making weird noises, similar to my standard attempts to either scare someone or whisper a joke...
I like the way the melody becomes more active in the second half...
Good job!
Oh... Time for a soundtrack from the admin!
The Shrine in the Vale - Desert... or is it? I'm feeling the atmosphere of a mixture of desert, some canyons and a watering hole..... Also, that string instrumental leads a light narrative well.....
...AND THEN BAM AND THERE ARE HUMAN VOICES. GOD, THEY'RE SO MAGICAL. AAARGHHHH.
Arrival at the Lost City - I think I'm surrounded by vocalists from the witcher 3 soundtrack :>
The Inner Sanctum - These men seem to be thirsty.... are they asking me for some water? I'm not greedy! I'll share!
What can I say in general? Well... It's a beautiful job! First of all, the voices, throat singing and slight swoops of bass are mesmerizing.... Cool!
P.S. Seriously, please, somebody get this man some water.
Well... Time for one of the best composers of these jams!
First of all: I like the design of your publication very much! This kind of abandoned, ancient and cool futurism...
core_title_splash - I feel the atmosphere of subnautica... Huge amount of perfectly mixed effects, general synthetic melody and MEN'S VOICE OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH
core_menu_theme - I'm starting to like this synthetic chaos more and more... And on this track I'm starting to feel... something beep . The beatcrash melody starting at 0:45 is perfect! (I'm a little bitcrush fan :> ).
core_basalt_plains - plants? I can hear nature... But this nature seems a bit synthetic (I use that word too often, lol)
core_fluorite_forest - Bubbles? I don't know why, but I get a strong association with bubbles.... Also jugs being knocked around with something Synthetic.
core_sodium_mountains-- Ohh. this track sounds like horror! Did we go down somewhere? Or need to explore something unsafe.....
...and it's awesome >:]
What can we say in general? Well... you have as usual a good mix, amazing combination of sounds, sfx and synths... in short, everything I love! During the whole soundtrack I felt the vibes of subnautica :>
Cool work! I love it!
Why is it that when I hear this track, I get this picture in my head: a small group of dwarves playing insturments, because they are bored.... Seriously, I can even see that very passionate gnome blowing hard into a light wind instrument.... (What's the name of that brass at the beginning?). In short - Gnomes
А! Right! Track!! It's magical :>
The general combination of instruments, the atmosphere of something old, slightly overgrown and yet a bit gritty... I love it!
GNOMES
A great combination of strong ambient bass, my favorite synths, once again synths and plucking! Even an atmospheric guitar towards the end.....
I love the fact that the track can be repeated an infinite number of times! The silence at the end clashes well with the light piano at the beginning.....
In short - I liked it!
Rawr :>
Nice track! The first half feels like I'm walking through a hot desert, the sun's rays are reflecting off the iron of a nearby flying spotter, and I still have enough water what-so-ever to explore the canyons further...
And then I find an abandoned city! It seems the fun that used to reign here is now forever part of the air. I breathe it. I breathe it... jazz?
All in all, good job ^_^. From the comments - the pad is humming a bit too much....
