All drums (including percussion) are samples from old Sega games. For the "special" percussion - I took samples and distorted them through modular synths (including a piece of vocals)

The sound at the very beginning is distorted instruments from classic 16-bit games

I ran out of space on Soundcloud

Sorry :>

Cool!

I myself sometimes walk around the area and take photographs for covers (sometimes)

Your track gave me goosebumps... you can be proud of that :>

Hey, that sounds like fun! I like that overall sound of orchestral instruments and some “cuteness” in some of the episodes.... And of course - DRUMS

Pure, mesmerizing and epic!

Do I need to say something? People have already said everything... it's beautiful!

Frodo... you must take the ring to Orodruin.

Wonderful orchestration, with lots of interesting combinations of intruments! I love it!

Battle theme is, of course, my favorite).

Bro... Я. I. Love. Marching drums!!! 1!

Feels incredibly epic, angry, and majestic in this composition.... good job with the instruments!

DRUMS!!!

Easy, soulful and effortless.... appreciate it! Definitely one of my favorites of this jam :>

Soulful, atmospheric, and... romantic? Lol, why does this song sound romantic to me! What the...

You hit the theme well! Medieval chorus, slightly eerie orchestra and a beautiful melody.... I like it.)

Ok, this is my favorite of the whole jam

***
A race to die for - Ohh. a dash of mystery, rocking beats and effects... caves:?

Old Bones - Funky! (Damn, I love those “drill” sounds in my ears )

Ghoul Graveyard - BOO! Scary? Yes! That descending synthesizer is cool! Alien sounds, dynamic bass... what more do you need to be happy...?

Cerberus Circut - ...and for total happiness we need more gurgling sounds, organs..... guitars!? Sounds like Sonic Mania + boo!

The Final Drift - The dynamics are off the charts..... I'm feeling a little Prodigy.

Repentance Raceway - Need I say anything else? Well... I like the spacey arpeggio and the little break with the bass!

Hell Of A Tourney - Yay! Victory!!! Do they give me a lollipop?)

***

The only comment I can give in general is the ending of the tracks. I would very much like to hear other variations of the ending of the tracks, for slowly fading slowly gets tiresome (But this is more my personal quibble)

***

Huge amount of different sounds, experiments, motifs and one big dynamic! That's what I love the most!

Cool work! It's like listening to a full soundtrack for a game!

I listened to all the publications and left yours for last. What can I say? Yours is my favorite. It's the most dynamic, the most fun and the closest to my heart)

I hope your publication will be appreciated, because it is really cool! I hope you win :>

AAAA GENNY! (I love this plugin. I use it in all my publications.)

Cute, atmospheric and pixelated..... I love it! It's like I'm playing a small, long forgotten game :D

Good job!

The most fantasy-styled publication of this jam. It's official.

Honestly? I don't even know how to comment on that..... It's a wonderful publication (I don't have enough imagination for more, sorry )

Thank you so much for an exciting journey! It gave me some sense of nostalgia for games I played a long time ago :>

Sounds... Irish?)

Cool!

I. LOVE. DRUMS. eto prekrasno!

Beautiful, a bit experimental (especially the bit of terraria near the end). Cool!

It's very positive, cool and so carefree :D

I especially like the instruments sounding in different ears..... adds to the fun! :D

A ton of fun and... do I even need to explain anything? Just go and dance! :D

:D

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I love that the main instruments in these two tracks are bells) The small strings complement the slight mysteriousness of the theme perfectly! (And it also feels a bit Asian, heh).

I like it!

It's good at the same time reassuring and alarming...what is it? :D

Good ambient!

It's epic, melodic, a bit graceful and melancholy, as if-I'm listening to the end of some tragic story....

Good job!

MARCH!!1!

As far as I'm concerned, your posting is the best orchestration from this jam among all the postings I've listened to :>

P.S. I love the cover art! How did you make it?

Wow... thanks!

AAAAH SYNTHESIZERS AND SPACE!!! 1!

Heed Sector is a beautiful theme for the main menu and... glasses? I'm definitely being taken on an interesting journey! (When the drums started appearing towards the end, I fell in love with this world)

Tribulation - Me. Love. This one. Melody. It sounds simultaneously aggro, simultaneously cool and addictive. The middle of the track gave the feeling of... something falling? The arpeggio is good! Drums... ahem. DRUMS

Go Home, Someday Soon - Nice. Cozy and laid back... am I floating in space?

Great work!

Cute, inspiring, and optimistic...

I'd definitely like to hear it in slime rancher (I love that game, heh)

Good job!

Underground-royal-jazz-orchestra :0

Good work! I especially like the “singing” flute :>

Ok, your posting is one of my favorites :>

First off - BARABANS. RHYTHM. BEAT. CHIPTUNE AAAAAAAHHHH LOVE IT.

All this simultaneously cool, mysterious and funky melody creates its own interesting atmosphere..... as if I'm listening to a rock band that lost their instruments at one point, but they still have chips from old consoles.

Also I would like to mention the effects in my ears and those waves-transitions between parts of the track.... cool!

Honestly, very cool work!

You кnow, uh. there's always a need for simple but soulful synthesizer music in the world

I especially liкed the effects and the overall sound design (like I'm drowning and they're humming music to me)... good job!

Brо. You got real modular synthesizers. I already love you for that :>

Interesting trip! In every sense)

Pokémon! POKEMONS! (I've never played pokémon :>)

Good job! Lots of... epicness? Definitely something I could hear in a cute RPG game!

(1 edit)

I play a mix of queen, the doors, and mario?)

Your little story came out pretty... '80s style? The whole composition is one big vibe from old experimental music, lol. I like it!

P.S. Give advice on how to make tunes like this, please :>

AMOGUS

Okay, I may not be a fan of the genre and am a bit terrible at it, but I like what you've done.... Good job!

One thing I can point out for sure is that this synth is so cute :>

P.S. Why am I emphasizing the cymbals so much?

BIT! BARABANES! HOT SYNTHESIZERS! AAAAAH!

Definitely one of my favorites! A mix of hip-hop beat and..... bongos?) Lots of interesting sound design decisions and a very good mix!

Also, damn, you made a great HOT synthesizer in my ears!

Awesome job!

One big melodic mini-symphony ...

Seriously, the piano in this track literally sings!

Beautiful combination of everything and anything (Especially jazz. Jazz is good everywhere. JAZZ), successful division into different “emotional parts”. Love the moment at 3:35 for..... it's so cartoonish and exciting, like-I need to find something....

...and the final part evokes a sense of nostalgia..... Synthesizer version of Slime Rancher?)

Thanks for the composition, it came out really cool :>

P.O.T.A.T.O.

It's fun, it's playful, and it's POTATO. Cool!

Give me some advice on how to make a normal chiptune, please :>

Synthesizers + rustling bags + table tapping + schizophrenia pills = love.

I like the experimentation and the rhythm... some cool synth and BUM

Good work!

Bells, sub basses, glitch effects, an angelic choir that sometimes needs a drink of water - that's what you need for a perfect start!

Then there's a little calm followed by a restless, beautiful, but excitement. (Damn, I love those devilish transitions!)

Awesome job! (As always :>)

Where. You. Got. This. Photo. With. Funny. Skeleton!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

And no kidding - it's very beautiful! Especially when the drums at the end make the track cool! (I love drums :>)

Ordinary musical instruments on the verge of synthesizers, interesting melodic turns.... I like it!

Good job)

Orchestra, lots of sub bass and epic....

I like it! My only comment is the jumping volume (Although I have a big problem with that myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Good job!

P.S. How did you make those powerful transitions...? :>

Okay... you're a contender for the hottest cover art of this jam. And even, I think, the winner.

I like the variety of instruments and the smooth flow from one theme to another! (I especially love 2:10 to 2:16. Chic!)

Only the drums were a bit lacking in ruthlessness :> (But that's okay! It's just my personal fetishes...).

Good work!

Wow...

...no...

WOW!

An oppressive atmosphere that made me feel VERY uncomfortable, to the point of goosebumps. Good... ambient?
