I'd like to confirm what it means. For images, does made from scratch mean the image must be drawn from blank sheet?

What if I take silhoutte from a sprite and use the silhoutte to guide me in drawing new sprite. The silhoutte is then removed after sprite is finished. Does that count as made from scratch or not?

The question is primarily asking about external assets (not made by your team). For anything gray area like you mentioned, use your discretion.
