yes
Summarise your game!
This is a game that is a part of the Temporal Light series. This game is a direct continuation of Temporal Light: Jem of Twilight after chapter 5 in which Jem is unwillingly taken on a journey through the multiverse
The game is primarily a top down action RPG with metroidvania mechanics to aid in doing damage to enemies and provide access to the player to new areas.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
In this game you play as jem being investigated on what she is and how powerful she is. One perk of the character is increased damage to melee damage and magic(late game). The second playable character also has perks such as using conventional weapons such as guns swords, and martial arts(although not as much damage as jem)
Using these perks on enemies can allow for the HP of these enemies to melt fast (in fact the first boss does pitiful damage and you only have access to jem’s perk).
Basically you are a weapon to Get out of a Government facility from a high security area.

Cool game, has that old school gameboy vibe, which looks like what you were going for. The character select screen is a bit odd with using your arrow keys to control a mouse and using alt to interact. Other than that though, the game was smooth and the art was really cool. Great job!
you can also use wasd and z to do this. the reason why I don't have the ability to use a normal mouse as that wasn't a normal Gameboy peripheral. as the engine I used can only use what was commonly used for most Gameboy/Gameboy Color games. below is an image directly from the engine to assign the key bindings. also, mobile would be completely left out as it does have the emulated buttons and ignores keyboard controls.
that is a common scene type for the engine to do a point and click.
the engine I used is GB Studio
Well that is pretty cool! I tried z and for some reason alt was only working for me.
I wonder if in the character select screen instead of using a cursor to select your character options if you could just do it more like a menu. Arrows to change between the options and then a confirm button.
Either way good job! I'll have to look into GB studio, seems like a cool engine.
The initial sound is very loud and grating, it is hard to actually get into the game because of this.
The GDD looks great!
try retrying the game. I added a volume control menu.
Much better! thank you
