- I enjoyed playing this. I'm not the best at games in general, but, the concept was simple to follow and a nice challenge to complete as well. I'd play more of this for sure

Trial By Fire is an action puzzle game about starting fires and causing as much chaos as possible, while trying also not to blow yourself up.
Objective is to burn all the flammable objects in the level before the timer runs out.
Be mindful, as you only have a limited amount of flint and steel to create sparks with.
Fire spreads to all nearby objects.. including yourself ;)
Achieve the highest score possible in each level.

Well polished with a good concept and level design! I don't mind the chaotic/random nature of the game, however the short range of the lighter made it annoyingly difficult to not kill yourself while starting fires. I get that it's kind of the point of the game, but it made solving the levels rather frustrating.
That's a very fair criticism, and I understand where you're coming from. It's obviously something that can be tweaked, if any future progress is gonna be made :) Thanks for playing !
Great puzzle game, visuals are awesome and polished, love the different mechanics of different flammables. Love the use of the timer to make the player rush a bit and get himself on fire. Happend to me a lot.
But personally I would rather know exactly how many sparks I get via a number rather than trying to gauge it through the progress bar.

Thanks ! I completely understand the need for numbering the sparks. The bar was a leftover from an old mechanic that didn't make it, and I just reused the same logic. Thanks for playing :)
