  • The performance in browser could be better, also when I moved the mouse or turned around it would sometimes just lag a lot and not respond to controls anymore. Which is a shame because flying around and dropping those balls of sunshine is a nice idea and fun! Thanks for making that game!

This game is about spreading joy to those around you and how easily negativity can spread.

Help all the Goobs be happy! Drop sunbursts to brighten their day. Fly through clouds to stop the rain.

It's Spreading: A Goob's mood will spread to other Goobs when they collide. A happy Goob can make anyone happy. A sad Goob will make a neutral Goob sad. When a Goob throws a tantrum, watch out, it will spread all nearby Goobs. Goobs get sad when they get rained on.

This is my second project as a solo dev, any feedback is appreciated!
The Web version is a bit laggy so recommend playing the desktop version if possible.

Hi, this is a cool game. My team a similar concept of spreading happiness/the spread of sadness :D
I made it to level 8 so I'm pretty happy with that! I will be hearing the cries of the goobs in my dreams now xD
Would be cool to maybe have other abilities/pickups in the sky that the bird can grab and use.

I got quite a lot of lag spikes now and again, I feel like it was maybe when the red goobs are doing their pulsing thing but I'm not sure. It could also just be browser-related. 

But overall, great job on your submission :D

Good eye, yeah, the stuttering is due to the pulsing. The way I have it setup, Godot compiles the shader each time the objects spawn. I fixed it for the clouds but didn't have time for the red pulses! It's mainly on the web version, didn't see an issue on desktop version on my machine.

Level 8 on the web build is impressive!

Hi, i tried out the game, i found it a little hard to get used to the controls. I can see all the hard work you put in making custom models. Loved the concept of a bird pooping out happiness instead of well, poop on people :).

Yeah,  when I would turn around it would get choppy and I would overturn so i was constantly adjusting. I was playing with the keyboard, I didn't try controller.

I couldn't beat the first level, it looked like i had one red guy i could never find.
