- Your game shows some promising mechanics, juggling a basket catcher with boxing is quite interesting. I didn't really get the theme coming through in-game. The graphics could use some work and the pop up powerup messages are very distracting. I didn't understand how to play very well. A play-along tutorial would have been nice. Promising start - well done.
- Theme felt lacking for this game jam. Interesting concept but may want to change the name to not cause confusion because shadow boxing is an actual thing where the characters seemed to be actually boxing.

Love the shadow boxing interpretation for the theme! The game is a lot of fun, and the art and sounds are all great! The left side of the screen gets very chaotic very fast, but I really like the overall idea you've come up with. The boxing portion of the game felt very polished and "punchy". Great submission!
Thanks for checking the game out and glad you liked it! I do think I need to slow down the left side accelaration indeed. "Punch" it down a notch :D
Oof! Definitely a very creative take on a theme, I like it. Although I had difficulties grasping whats going on and what to do. I loved the mechanic that you have to concentrate on two sides at the same time. Music was also a perfect fit. One thing that I didn't like tho, was the splash screens during play (DEPUP Recovery) for example. They take too much space and it makes your actual status barely visible. If that was the goal, then it handles it perfectly. I still don't quite understand how the left side works. I tried collecting them as in "basket" but some weren't collecting. Still a very fun and interesting game, good job.
Thanks for playing! Original idea of the splashes was indeed to disrupt the player. But I am starting to realize that perhaps disrupting a player who is trying to enjoy a game might not be the best idea :D
What a cool take on the theme! Really fun once you get the hang of it! And local co op was a welcome surprise!
Cheers! Thanks for playing!
