Why not best of both worlds? Download free with ads and have an option to remove ads with a small fee. I think this is quite standard. Any downsides to this approach?

I am referring to the mobile platform. And as earlier mentioned,  don't put ads in PC games.

Cheers ASWhaler! Great video and had a blast watching it :) Very much appreciated!

Impressive creation in a week! Enjoyed my time with this one :)

Hi ASWhaler!

Maybe you could try out my Hoopsie-game? It's just a simple basketball throwing game, but it would be interesting to see someone test it out :) It is a mobile game, but I just updated the page with a browser-playable version so hopefully that wouldn't be a problem.

btw, any habanero videos uploaded yet? ;)

Cool game! Really like how you implemented the boost dice mechanics. Looking good!

Really cool experience! Loved the visuals and the relaxed atmosphere :)

Thank you! Great job!

Cool game! Or should I say Hot! I mean its on Fire! ....Flames, I mean flames.

Great stuff! The sounds and effects were top notch. Extra points for bullet time!!

What a great experience! This is a piece of art.

Pretty cool with a cool short story. A fitting name for the game ;) Thanks, Enjoyed this one!

Got the skeleton king :) Pretty good basis to start expanding and refining!

Really cool game! Had to snip my level 1 record here while it still holds ;)

Looking good! Great frame to build upon.

Interesting idea! A bit easy though. Greg the douche could use a bit more power :)

Released my first ever game yesterday. It's a Android game where you throw hoops. It has two levels, the traditional basketball court and a space level. Would be great to get to hear Your thoughts on the game and your hiscores! :)

All feedback hugely appreciated!

Very innovative concept, loved it! Looks really good, SFX and music top-notch! Right away the start menu was oozing with polish setting the bar high. Excellent work!

And nice to see a fellow Shadow Boxer :D

Found the skip button when using the full screen mode. I will need to make sure to read the instructions properly :D Loved the humour and the cutscenes were a real nostalgy trip to the good old times :)

After the intro cutscenes the screen just stayed black and I didn't see the skip button. Will try again! Thanks for the tip :)

Smooth controls and a great idea! Extra plus for the music. Perfect fit!

Great visuals and presentation! Liked the innovative take on the theme :) Not sure about if the music was a good fit. That might be worth a revisit if you continue developing this.

Great job!

The game didn't start but the intro cinematics were worth it! Great stuff :) I hope to get to try the game at some point too.

Thanks for checking the game out and glad you liked it! I do think I need to slow down the left side accelaration indeed. "Punch" it down a notch :D

Nifty game! My machinegun farmer finally got the shop emptied. Enjoyed this :)

Fantastic art style. Really cool effects and loved the presentation! Shadows looked really cool.

Gameplay might benefit a bit with having the player being a bit stronger in his hits. The standard hit felt a bit powerless.

Similarly it felt that enemies were also a bit weak in their attack. Maybe there could be fewer enemies, but with bigger damage?

Howdy!

Got my first ever game out! Yay! It's for Android and I have the apk downloadable here at itch. Game is also available in Google Play store (link in game page). It's quite simple game of throwing some hoops, but with some twists. Would be great to hear some feedback! Enjoy :)

Hoopsie

Cool idea! The shadow twist on alchemy worked great.Always fun to tinker and experiment with machines!

Great atmosphere! Loved the fog and lighting. Got stuck in the room above the double jump scroll. Should I have first collected that scroll before reaching that, or maybe I am just slow? :)

Thanks for playing! Original idea of the splashes was indeed to disrupt the player. But I am starting to realize that perhaps disrupting a player who is trying to enjoy a game might not be the best idea :D

Thanks for the feedback! Very much appreciated.

I was aiming to get that dramatic effect from the big stains, and originally they stayed blocking the view even longer. Definitely worth a rethink  for me there.

The difficulty curve also seems to run too fast on the collector side within a level. Maybe should have toned that down. Maybe the 5-combo is too many also?

Good points you had there! Thanks again.

Thanks for playing! Difficulty curve might be a bit too steep I think. Pro-tip: always go for the strength-PUP first ;) I should probably have a look at the parameters to lower the difficulty at some point in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

Cool game with an interesting idea! Loved the visuals. Impressive work in such short time.  I did encounter a bug where I got stuck within the object when revealing it. Might have a look at that, if you are planning on updates :)

Cheers! Thanks for playing!

Smooth controls and clever levels! Enjoyed this one. First I thought that the potion might make the game too easy, but the levels were very well designed. Good challenge all the way!

Cool game! Really liked the mechanics and a good variety of how they could be used. Extra plus from the intro! Great job!

Cool concept. Like the idea of rebuilding your deck for the next fight. The symbols above the wizards head (explaining his intentions?) were a bit unclear to me. Maybe some explanations to be added?

Cool game! Interesting mechanic combining movement and shooting. My usual tactic of cowering in a corner seemed to work quite well in this one :)

Cool mechanic and nice atmosphere! Took me a while to realize that you could control the direction of the fast move effect when using it. I might be a bit slow :D Nice work!

What a wonderful eggscape! Loved the laid back atmosphere and the encouragement along the way! Egg well done!

Well that was an experience! Loved it :D
