- GDD It is nice to read. Very direct to the point. Nice to see an image of the game of the theme interpretation. Good to included color palette, that shows transparency. However I think the document could have more transparency in related to its inspirations and the game mechanics. So perhaps having gifs or images of these game mechanics would help a lot than just text. Having an viable minimum product would help as well, since it shows how much thoughts and work that went into it each day of the jam. Ya can think of it as a diary. Game Sadly, I couldn't run the game on chrome browser due to "Error The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)" EDIT: Managed to get the game working on firefox. The game seems good. However I would like instead of pressing the mouse button to advanced in dialogue, it should be space button. Since the game is just an single quest, but in case if ya want to expand quests, I would recommend to have an quest log. Perhaps have an indicator that displayed that the NPC has more dialogue. The dialogue system also kinda need love for having an indicator to move around the UI, so it can be gamepad friendly. The game kinda remind me a little of here comes niko! vibes in 2D, but I think ya need to have the characters animated more so it have more expressions in the body than face expressions.

You are a little assistant of a grumpy alchemist. Find ingridients for his new potion, talk to weird and funny characters, make trades and... blow up a wall?!
Can you cook THE COOLEST POTION?
Controls
Arrows or WASD to move
E to interact
Left Mouse Click or SPACE to continue through dialogue.

This was super cute! I loved the art and the light feeling of the game!
So much personality in this game, all the characters are lovable, the art is great, the gameplay had a very old school flash game vibe. The only thing I hated was the music, so much distortion and it was so loud :p
Great job on the project man!
Thank you. I'll try to make music better next time.
The art style is so adorable
Thanks!
Game is cool! Love the music and the color palette, i would totally play a game like this with story
Wow, I'm happy you enjoyed the music, cuz I have no experience in it whatsoever!
Such a cute art style, I loved it! Dripping with good vibes, a lovely time from start to end, I shall treasure my time spent making THE COOLEST POTION 🧪🧪🧪

Haha! Thank you! I'm glad you liked Starpa, such an underrated character.
I really enjoyed the art style but I was a bit lost in the game to know where to go or what to do. It is possible the yellow paint level design could be applied here to help a bit.
Also the music was a bit too loud and could do with a slider or if u could turn it down by a tad. I feel background sound should be heard but not enough that it becomes the game.
Thanks for your constructive criticism!
Really great work! The art style is absolutely adorable and all the characters are really endearing. I'm excited to see what you make next!
Thank you so much! It means a lot for me!
