  • The art was all done very, very well. Very good implementation of the art and sound. The theme was really well implemented as well. I think the biggest weakness to the game was that it didn't feel rewarding to go get the items required. I did it, but it didn't feel like an accomplishment. I think tuning some of the mechanics of the game can turn this negative into a positive. Great job on the game!

Tell us about your game!
Midnight Graveyard is an arcade-horror-crafting game set in a… you guessed it, midnight graveyard.

The player controls a plague doctor who is sent to a graveyard to collect ingredients from the dead to create potions: eyes, skulls, hands, teeth, or even brains. Use your lamp to illuminate in the middle of the night, avoid getting lost, and bring the necessary ingredients to the cauldron. But be aware: the dead don't want to be disturbed.

really cool artstyle and animations! It's very coherent and fits the theme well
Tho I personally found the gameplay a bit hard, as the grabbing the objects took really long and since after each reset the objects were in a different position. But ofc that adds to the challenge, so it's not a bad thing :)
Really cool tho, and seems so polished for two weeks :00

It's a little bit hard, indeed. I wish we had more time for balancing! Anyways, glad you had fun.

Thank you for playing and giving feedback, really appreciate it.

Seeing that 'the undead have been upset' message was a real oh no moment hahahaha

I adore this art style! I just wish there was some way to move a bit faster.

Keep it up though!

Hello! Thank you for playing and for your feedback!

Yup, we aimed for that kind of reaction, glad you had it! About the character speed, we wanted the player to feel a little bit helpless in that aspect, kind of Amnesia vibes, so that's why the decision of the slow speed and not having a way to "defeat" enemies; but anyways, we take note for possible improvements in the future, it's always good to know how players feel.

Thanks again,
